Was it really a GT-R? The moment they took off the rear wheels spun like crazy, which led me to believe it was just a kitted up base model. :indiff:

Yep, it's a real model of a GTR, but they could have fixed the 2F2F R34 with more wheelspin by a custom made wheel torque converter(or whatever the name was, it's at the tip of my tounge) on a rear bias setting. But the car was AWD all the way through.

Really? Dang. IMO, I think they ruined it. Anyways, I though R34s weren't allowed on the street in America?

Not really, but I've heard stories of some being brought to the states. But if you do that you have to get a left hand drive conversion, which I believe requires most of the interior to be torn up and having a completely new dashboard. Even then, I think the way the engine is and how it sits under the hood can be another obstacle. That said, some people are ballsy enough to do it; just a couple of days ago I saw a white R34 on the way to school, though, it could've just been a kit car (do they have those for the R34?). I also saw it one time last month when I was going to school. So it's doable, but it's quite hard. :indiff:

A friend of mine from the US told me that there are something like... 12 real R34s in the States. So the vast majority you see are probably fakes. If I remember correctly, he said something like 4 have been impounded and crushed or something... I can't really remember.

Why would anybody want to torture a Mustang like that? D:

I spotted this a while ago on wheel-whores.com. The actual owner posted the thread, and I don't think anybody thought what he'd done actually looked good. He called it, "The Pasrat".

Here, we start off with a fairly normal looking 90's Passat.

And then something possessed him to do this;

Yes, those are cola bottle sweets he's put on the mirrors. Yes, that is a toilet seat on the back. Yes, that is his spare laundry on the front.

At first I saw the very first photo and thought "The wheels look a bit strange, but nothing too questionable. I quite like it", but after scrolling down, an OMGWTFBBQ moment struck. Well, atleast it doesn't have that massive-retarded camber thing.

You need to edit 2 of those pictures. The 3rd and 4th pic.

I took out the 4th pic, but is the 3rd that bad?

I think the idea for that car must have been fuelled by drugs :P

Probably. He tried to go for the rat theme. Most people told him he needed to look up the meaning of 'rat' when it comes to cars.

Yes it a Mustang, with a V6 and Lotus Elise headlights, a grille from a 1950 Nash, 1989 Cadillac taillights and plenty of "hand formed" steel body work.

WT:censored: is that?! What a waste of a Mustang. I don't like the V6 versions, but how much retardation can a V6 Mustang get?

Can someone give me a paper bag? :ill::ill:

I never understood the appeal of making your POS car look like a bigger POS than it already is. The only thing that's kind of working is the lowering.

I understand when they leave like, cars from the 50's like that to create the rat style... but a Civic? Really? o.O

It's an expression, in a certain style.

I personally think anything noticably "stanced" belongs in this thread, but yet many here like it... You get 'good' rat cars, and bad ones, just as some stance is 'tastefully' done, and some (most... ahem) looks ridiculous.

White & Nerdy
I tend to hate rat cars in general. If you're trying to make your car look rusty, unfinished, or hacked-together, you are wrong, and you need to stop.

There's nothing wrong with a good old fashioned rat rod. A good rat rod doesn't have to please anyone bit there owner which is most of the appeal, and a good one never looks hacked together.

^All cars in here probably look good to the owners.

Nothing wrong with rats, look at the ghia Reno in this forum had. Absolutely gorgeous.

But why construction foam?
why 36 different coloured panels.
What?

That mustang is hillarious though... It looks crocked as hell.

Cameo's: nothing wrong with it. A ferrari might not be the ideal candidate but as it seems cameo is the new rat.
You will see alot more of them incoming
