Challenger was a shortened Coronet.
Yeah? Didn't know that. But I also don't know/think a Camaro has anything to do with a Nova. The Falcon, on the other hand, was the basis for the Mustang. Still, I was just picking cars of similar periods and configuration that I would prefer over the bellybuttons.

What the hell.

It's... It's a BATHTUB FOR GOD'S SAKE! It's a stretched Yaris! How can someone fall in love with that ABOMINATION?!

What the hell.

I can't help but notice that the image URL says 'modified-convertible-prius'. Uh, first of all, I'm pretty sure that's a Yaris (MUCH cooler than the Prius, thank you very much) and second of all I refuse to believe that that thing actually has a folding roof in the back.

Also it's a Yaris (cool) AND a 50's racecar (cool) so I would drive that all the time. Yes, even during the rain.

I can't post any more Priis, my eyes are burning up. Excuse me while I get some eye surgery done...

I couldn't agree with you more. However misplaced it may have been, genuine effort went into the others. That last one looks eighth-arsed.

No, you don't understand. That's the face it's making in disgust. It's probably looking at a mirror, or the owner.

But I also don't know/think a Camaro has anything to do with a Nova.
It did. It wasn't as close as the original Mustang was with the original Falcon, but still pretty close. Built at the same plant, shared a lot of parts, very similar floorpans and subframes, identical drivetrains, updates to either model was shared the next year, etc. The Camaro was rushed to market in 1967, but they originally were both planned for 1968.

The original Barracuda was just a fastback Plymouth Valiant to the extent that everything in front of the A-Pillar was identical. It even came out a little bit before the original Mustang. It wasn't until the third generation car that they completely redesigned it and took it up market, to even more massive sales failure.

Sorry for the double post. Wanted to keep this separate.

^ That is not questionable, that's patriotic. :)

That 'Murica paint job isn't that bad. Not considered questonable down South.

Same bodykit, but convertible, flames with two-tone and those wheels? No thanks.

What the hell.
^ This is cool, all it needs is just RWD and thats it. If it needs more power, just drop a non-turbo 2JZ and be done with it. :D
