Quick CD Burner Question

I make a lot of compilation CDs using my PC. In the options, there is a box I can check to eliminate gaps between tracks. However, when I try to check this option, I get a message that my drive in not capable of this feature. I would really like to be able to record CDs without gaps mainly for the continuity of live/concert recordings. What spec do I need to look for or do any of you know of a specific drive I can get to accomplish this?

I doubt that the drive itself would be the limiting factor. Which software are you using?
