After the update people where confused to what actually changed. All PSN accounts have been changed to SEN accounts, this means you can use your Playstation account forr all websites that use SEN (Sony Entertainment Network) servers.

I will keep this thread updated whenever I find new information.

This had better not be the GT5 update on the 7th. Changing a name is ok. Adding other devices to the network is a reality. I hope that the thousands of TV's clogging the network do not effect my experiences.

I still log onto the PSN, SEN can go 🤬 itself . Its much the same with GT5, I have 11 X1's not 10 X2010's and a X2011.

As per the Email, there shouldn't be any functional differences for us PS gamers.
I think the whole idea is, to create a bigger network over all Sony platforms, that offers the same Services as for example Xbox live.
But a good point is the load on the overall network.
In theory the servers should be upgraded, due to the higher load, specially with the video streams.
But in reality I think we will face some issues with connections.
Another point is, how long it will remain free of cost, to have a account (best example Xbox live Gold).

They cant get the chat right while where in the same game. Lets maybe get that right first. Same problem in gt5, people want more content before fixing the game. Why would you want more content on a screwed up game? Sorry rant over.

Well i guess the new PSP is suppose to have this, saw that in a game informer a few months ago... I honestly don't see why it couldn't work on the PS3 right now... It would be amazing if it was in a update soon.

There are some games that are coming up that are going to be Cross Platform
The one I know of so far is Dust 514 (which I plan on getting)

I'm still going to call it PSN. SEN is NES backwards, that and it sounds worse than PSN.
