[RACE] Formula 3500 International Series - Jammy21 takes the crown!Open

It's interesting, actually. I'm not sure if he was just saving tyres or what, but I was almost alongside Jammy on a few occations in the start of race 2. But, alas, hither came the tyre wear..

If most of the races were as intense as that (and me/Ciro), we'd be running 24 hour races :D

He was saving tyres to give us hope, and then smash our dreams when our tyres were gone...

I could imagine... Never really been a Vettel in a race, I'm usually having fights. I wonder how could Jammy be as fast as us, yet still manage to save tyres...

I think the tyres saving comes from longer (time and kms) races and also some endurance races that I love to run.

I had two setup for Fuji - one with camber and one without it. With both I could run about same lap times.

Here's setup that I used in Fuji. Notice that this setup has done with 180 kg ballast which mean some stiffer suspension.
May be this help you guys at least little.

Suspension
-rh: 50 / 45
-sr: 19,10 / 19,20
-damp. comp : 8 / 9
-damp. ext: 9 / 10
-arb: 7 / 7
-camber: 0,0 / 0,0
-toe: -0,01 / 0,01
-bb: 4 / 10

Transmission
-set in this order
-final: 4500
-max speed: 240 km/h
-1 : 6480
-2 : 5305
-3 : 4300
-4 : 3490
-5 : 2894
-6 : 2428
-7 : 2108
-final : 3100

LSD
-12 / 25 / 10

Body
-df: 650 / 830

Ballast
-180kg @ 5 (47:53)

Yeah I noticed but yes I was saving tyres and I couldn't go faster with that heavy load (180 kg) and you're were drafting me well - even though your driving lines were little off :)
I really hoped that you could follow us (me and driverman) longer.

@Ettick - sorry that you missed this but come to next race.

And last - come on guys @adam46, @Turbo_snail and my teammate @Siggers.
Mount Panorama is next and tested this car last night first time in that track - best lap time 1'51.8 so far (with 200kg ballast). Here we go... :)

Alright, the Fuji race report should be ready (I haven't found a good picture yet, though) and the standings table updated as well. Next up: Bathurst. I'll have all info regarding that ready in a little while 👍

Run-off areas always seem to talk to me like: "Use me, you will gain time! Don't worry, no one will notice! Look how fast Jammy is, you don't want to finish 2nd, do you?" :D

My best lap so far is a 1:50.9

Feels like riding a roller coaster, this track rewards ballsy driving more than anything.
I think I can go a second faster if I just keep my foot down more.

I've had to switch to "hood view" or wherever it's located on this car, don't feel safe otherwise.

All the important documents (and countdown timers) regarding Bathurst should be up now. Please notice that race two will be held in the evening, although (unless we constantly need cautions) it should be just late enough to get some sundown action while also finishing before the track gets absolutely undrivable in FGT's 👍

In other news, a new team with a new driver has signed up! Because this bumps the number to 9 teams, there would normally be a little problem. Not this time, seeing as one of the current teams hasn't been able to get a driver, let alone that driver showing up at an event, and they have thus been taken off the list 👍

I should also mention that I'll either not be able to make, have poor connection at or have to leave early on Friday for reasons that are beyond my control. Should I have to leave early, would somebody volunteer to save their replay and send it over?

Finally, a shout out to @Turbo_snail, @Siggers and @adam46. Apart from Adam appearing at Monza, neither of you have taken part in a race week so far.

Sorry to hear this, but what you can do...
@rallymorten and @jammy21 Sorry but I just don't have the time for this series so don't expect to see me on track anytime soon

@rallymorten Same goes for me. Fairly sure I noted it a couple of weeks ago, but perhaps not.

Anyone else having audio clipping and screen flickering trouble at Paramount track on Online?

Today other race series try race but the track glitch got over and race was cancelled GTMSA

Yes, I've just forgotten to change the thread title :dunce:

As I said though, I can't promise a good, stable connection on my end. DC's are very likely, thus why I would want someone else to save their replay if I can't.

I should also notice that the room won't open until some 15 minutes before the scheduled start. But it's not cancelled :)
