@JacobRPP, I could open a lobby. Send an FR to MrMelancholy15 on PSN.

It could be about half an hour, however, since I am currently cooking dinner and would rather not leave stove unattended.

I think it would un wise for me to open as I am located in Australia, and the majority of you guys are in North America.

That top speed thou. I could follow you in the corners, but on the straights, zoom, you guys were gone. But fun session.

Yea after running to the far edge of the grass and passing people in the next turn...
Which was legal last season and as far as I know, there was not an official announcement saying it wasn't allowed.

If just saying, I kept it clean, didn't screw myself over, and didn't try any balls out moves.

I kept calm, relaxed, and made my way by Andrew.

A bit more setup tuning on the BMW, and it might just be ready. Just copied the setup from the other BMW from last season, and it might not be working the same. The gear ratios were off as well, so I had no power at the beginning. We'll see how it goes after some more test runs. Should only get better. I think my best lap was 1.00.3

Definitely getting there, you were mostly consistent in practice, it'll take time to get into the grove of the series.

@JacobRPP, you're also taking one of the most difficult cars in the series. Don't feel bad man, you're doing pretty well as far as BMW goes. It's not slow, but it's hard to drive.

Everyone - if you make a pass while off of the track, you must give the position back or you will be penalized back to be behind them. Even if you win the race and the guy you passed finishes last... Doesn't matter. At least two wheels on the black (not green) stuff. T1 exit is two wheels on or just over red and white curbing. T2 is two wheels on or just over red and white curbing. Two wheels always on the black tarmac.

Another thing, if anyone is found with illegal parts, incorrect aero etc., that person will be DQ'd this weekend in what is essentially a crack-down weekend. Everything you need to know about your car is in Original Post of thread.

Final thing: forecast is expected to be intermediate rain on Saturday (Race 1, maybe Race 2) clearing to sunny/dry conditions for Sunday's Races 3 and 4. Manufacturers are asking their teams to bring Inters and full wets, just in case.

Practice average lap times:

59s: dry
62s: light rain
67s: intermediate rain
87s: heavy rain

I just thought common sense would win over in that going 3 car lengths past the regular track boundary would be illegal, but if that was the case then so be it.

Let me know if you need help with the Bimmer. I raced it last year and know a few things that help it not be such a handful

Also, going wide in a turn to set up a pass in the next corner is a major no-no. I will be here this weekend for that, and I will be penalizing for that

If you're overtaking around the outside and you're nudged wide, off track, can you keep the position then?

@cnd01 any help would be much appreciated. It is a very interesting car to drive, even more so than the 330i.

@ITCC_Andrew, I am not feeling bad about it, I like a challenge. When will the next race start Australian time?

If anyone needs some last minute warmup laps and tuning, I'll open up a lobby at about 1 pm US EDT this afternoon after I get home from work. :)

@Turbo_snail and @JacobRPP, the races may be pushed back a little bit still. I asked if anyone had any objections to a 30 minute delay and no one did.

Jacob - of course it's not too late to sign-up. In the original post of this thread, you can find a paragraph about Registration directly above the registered drivers' list.
