For Mel to gain points from backing out he would at least need to get 2nd place, and that's assuming he would come last with ballast on. But if he would have finished 5th or higher with ballast, he would need to win without ballast to gain points. In other words, not exactly a good way of cheating.
 
Ballast is applied to people who score points, except those who finish 9th or lower... If you want to tell me that scoring 0 points is a good strategy, I'll just laugh and tell you to rethink your strategies.


Yesterday, I was seriously distracted by stress... My car is burning oil at a high rate; it's worrying me. I don't know the exact cause, and I can't go about having a look, since I have to drive the car to work...

Please understand that yesterday, I scored the fewest points of all of the people who attended. My driving was crap, @cnd01 thought it would be funny to exact revenge for me leaving a race, by putting me into a gravel trap and I didn't even slightly enjoy the racing.



So, then, thanks for making my days a little easier with your wonderful driving, which I will probably spend 4 hours investigating during this week.


If you guys don't get your driving together, double penalties next weekend will result.

There were only 6 of us in the room yesterday so you would have scored points for finishing last and you quit the race knowing full well you would start the next race in first with no success ballast, clever move but unsportsmanlike.
 
imo DNF should be given last place points so when you D/C you don't lose a ton of points

and you have to have ballast in the next race
 
I think it's not that simple that after DC you get last place points. If there more than 10 drivers and you're in 14th spot when you got DC.
I think you have to be driving race in top 10 and if you then got DC then it's might be ok to got haft points of your position.
It's MrM call to decide what to do with DCs, points and ballast.

Yea right :dunce: I totally spun you all on purpose. I just got so worked up over a 6 car race on a video game that I had to exact all revenge :rolleyes: It's totally my fault you're a sore loser

@ITCC_Andrew are you checking that everyone is conforming to the car specs on OP and not just fitting every part under the sun onto their car?

Also if ToCA is cancelled this weekend I will be racing with you guys properly this time :)

If you fit every part it changes your PP, that's how you tell, also some things like the exhaust make your car sound different, etc.

Yes, I have been. You guys just touched the surface of my data points... ;) If I ever doubt anyone, I'll know what's going on.
 
Just got around to watching some of the replays.
I swear I don't make the tires smoke this much on purpose.
