The biggest problem is not the initial BMW spec. When you ballast cars up to the hilt and move it totally changes the balance.

I facepalmed reading in the OP that you move the weight to the front in a RWD. No wonder you can't get a good spec if you don't even know how to place weight in a car.

Car wasn't too hard to drive here when you get a good setup on it, only gets tricky when more weight is on it.

I applied same set up to my ToCA RWD. Seemed to work in general.

With the weight the thing was trying to spin through turn 1 and through the esses and if I hadn't spun in the race I could have won. I was 6 seconds behind and spun and got stuck behind slower cars and had another moment which lost me a second and still finished 6 behind.

I had 4 spins in R1. The weight transfer really upsets the car on worn tyres.

Yeah Race 2 was hell, I could have played with the setup a little bit but I changed from Friday and it was much looser with ballast but faster without it, could have added some camber to keep it more stable but didn't know what to do so kept it the same. Pace is fine but keeping it straight is tricky.

Also the track was pretty pathetic. No wonder it was vetoed out my next season. RM cars have so much grip that makes overtaking difficult. Why you need RMs is beyond me.

Just tested the BMW: on current spec without a setup it ran 1 second faster around Suzuka East than the Alfa which does have a setup. :crazy: Then I tried running it at 1320 kg and it matched my Alfa times.

Suddenly, silence. But, wait, it's true.

BMW is on par with FFs at 1320 kg.

Also, @Furinkazen, one of your two BMW teams will not score points then; there are no slots left on my points tables.

Insert row option.

Fine.

People who scored points in Race 1:

@Ninners
@LancerEvo7
@Furinkazen
@Ettick
@gears_1000 (second highest scoring independent position all season) :cheers:
@ITCC_Andrew
@Roflwaffle
@nascarfan1400
@CAMikaze (continuing to lead Independent's, but recommended to push to stay ahead of gears)
@Nelsonatormjn16 (in the points in the debut is still nothing to cough at)

Edit: Everyone who finished Race #2 scored points (sorry gears...)

Edit #2: gears got the highest points finish of any Independent drivers in Race 3, though... Putting him into an immediate second place in the Independent standings.

Edit #3: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-Yh6yY7a_cQyCnEwOuAzxL3ny_b8L6qLft9Sk1Cny2g/edit?usp=sharing

By the way, I'm currently considering finalizing 6's circuit roster...

But relatively speaking, you're pretty much in the middle of the season.
I suppose. But it's not bad, seeing it's not the first season and it's going to give Andrew as much as an off season as we get if he does it early
