RACE International Touring Car Championship - Supplementary ThreadOpen

Andrew, the video is cool. But does it work for Europe? And could you explain the steps by writing here please? I really need to know because you know that what happens if I see just 2/3 drivers on a race.
It works regardless of continent, Harsk. I don't know about if you even have permission to set this (port forwarding) up from your parents.

ITCC 6/ITC-B 2 season circuit roster:

1: Grand Valley Speedway
2: Special Stage Route 5
3: Bathurst
4: Silverstone International
5: Red Bull Ring
6: Trial Mountain
7: Nürburgring GP/D
8: Twin Ring Motegi East
9: Spa Francorchamps
10: Nürburgring Nordschleife (ITCC 6 Finale only)

The season will be as follows: ITC-B and ITCC will share the season roster, with ITC-B and ITCC racing at the same tracks on the same weekends. The only difference is that ITC-B will not take on the challenging Nordschleife (mainly because the cars are just a bit too slow, and the laps would be at least approximately 7 minutes of full-throttle)

More news/info as you've requested!

  • 30 minute-races
  • Manufacturer structure of 2 factory drivers +2 independent drivers
  • Let's switch to an endurance race/timed event setup. Each race could last 30 minutes.
  • More power (perhaps 10-30 hp)
  • Enable car numbers
  • Come back of Rising Star Series
  • More wet races
  • ITCC 6 final at Nurburgring 24h
  • Red flags (also, caution flags)
  • RH tires

These changes have been implemented into ITCC 6.

The following things are areas we must, therefore, work on or clarify...:

  • Rising Star is returning, but will feature more prominently in ITC-B... The winner gets onto the S6 winning team in S7. Yes, the young adult (13-18 years old) with the most points will win a seat on ITCC's S6 winning team for Season 7.
  • Car specs must be made perfect (under way)
  • Pro and Am categories must be amalgamated into ITCC perfectly... (more on this soon)
  • Race distance, start type changing for ITCC and ITC-B (timed event, rolling starts in race 1, two races) - going up to 30 minutes per race (instead of an average of 20 minutes per race)
  • Independents and factory staying, require new organization system; this is separate from Pro and Am... In essence, the Factory teams are the ones with the best of the best Pro drivers, Independents have the middle fielders, and Am category drivers are the "backmarkers" or fresh recruits.
  • Caution systems (yellow flags to regroup the field in the case of a large accident (like the one at Madrid)
  • Independents get “base” tuning setups (no tuning, you'll get a base setup from one of our more talented tuners)

Yeah.... It's only 10 hp, though. The plan is to slowly ramp it up a bit... But, alas, one of the new cars doesn't even go up to 295 hp, so it's kinda not going to work this season. Soon. Soon you'll see 300+.

Another thing:

It's not too late to voice your own wishes for ITCC 6/ITC-B 2. Post them there (link above)!

Edit: Your cookies are in the mail, except them to arrive on the 31st of September. Also, anonymity made it especially hard to mail them to you.

Rising star is back, car numbers,Pro and Am classes, Indies doesn't have to worry about setups - So many awesome things and I'll be only part-time :(

Hi, what time of day are you planning on running the races in the new season? I have been very interested in joining this excellent series, but time zones mean that currently it is 5am where I live when your races start. Thanks in advance for an answer and sorry if this is the wrong place to post this

Either Saturday or Sunday, meaning either Sunday morning or Monday morning... Whichever one is most popular... I'm guessing you're in Australia.... This is difficult, sorry.... Maybe things will work out, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

This thread will be used for expanded clarification of ITCC-specific acronyms, race reviews, photos and various other things. While every new season will require a new thread in the GT6 Racing Series section, this thread is our permanent "Base of Operations," with ITCC Driver Biographies, ITCC statistics, and various other long-term projects.

I'll also include a "setups" post, a "dictionary" post, "Statistics post," "Photos" and various other posts at the beginning of the thread.

I don't want to be rude but some things are still not here after 4 months.

Statistics post is in progress.

Biographies are posted in ITCC 5 thread for now... Soon to be updated.

Race reviews was cancelled by @nascarfan1400, as he offered to do video reviews and then changed his mind...
If you want me to, I will write some up on the website with photos and maybe videos..

That's good to know. Also I'd wanted to give an biographies idea - If a particular driver wants,he'll able to have his recent ITCC-related photo showed after his bio ( after sending Andrew this photo, that he can set it )
