Pretty consistent racing tonight with a 3rd, 4th and 5th. Could've challenged for victory a couple of times had I not made mistakes.

You are quite fast - when we get into the main season, I think you'll be up front. Suzuka East was always going to be the tight, tricky, challenging, CQB track. The others might not be as psychotic and frantic.

Just couldn't stay connected, I was expecting this though as our line quality has been really poor and the internet has been dropping out over the last couple of days. I could join fine, could see everyone and had no lag, it just kept booting me out 15-20 seconds after joining. I should hopefully have it fixed by next race.

I'm not too displeased though as I managed to improve my GTA round 4 time by a tenth (2:15.763).

We've been onto the ISP as we're fairly certain it's a problem with the line as our landline phone is really crackly, so hopefully they'll get it sorted.

To be honest though we're forever getting problems, one of the disadvantages of living out in the sticks.

I had only myself to blame in race 1 and 2, I had the lead on Race 1 and just.... I don't know I just think I forgot I was driving a FF I reckon, hehe.

Race 2, didn't brake enough into T2, dropped the gear and it was just blipping like a b!*?h... Done it again the next lap and just curled up and died!

Race 3: Wow!!! Wasn't quite good enough to creep up on Nas with the overspeed to take advantage at T1, but given Andrew's lines out of the last corner, it was safe to say he had a better chance of it had I not defended 2nd from him for much of the race.

Did anyone have any disputes on my defensive lines? Was I crowding out too much?

Firstly, though... I'd like to ask opinions:

Nascarfan1400 is currently considered an Am driver, but should likely be shuffled to Pro, since he's leading the points championship.

@finlandwrc is the only other Am driver right now. Everyone else is Pro. So, as it stands, we have 7 or 8 Pro drivers (a full grid) and only 1 Am driver if nas is bumped to Pro.


Shall we invite some new GTP members to race with us? Should we invite people who think that they're "slow" to race with us? Let's fill out the Am ranks!

Also, team formation can now begin since everyone has locked their car of choice in...

Am drivers get a 15 second head start. I think that's too much of an advantage for someone of your talent level.

It is kinda meant for actual beginners/New guys/slow guys... not former champions who should run 9/10s (race pace)

**GT5photomatic didn't remain on circuit in the first and third races, forfeiting points. Please remain on circuit - otherwise, you're giving yourself a needless penalty. Giving away 24 points is an unfortunate result that no one wants to see. No one will heckle you over making a mistake and falling behind the group and I can't think of another reason to leave the circuit. Entering pit lane and pausing is also an acceptable way to leave the circuit while still earning points.

Revisions will be made to the Finish race timer to accommodate anyone who wishes to enter the pits and pause the game.

May I ask what your time constraints are? The races will begin at midnight in your timezone... So I would hope that you understand that before fully committing.
