@nascarfan1400 did get a win... But, the BMW - to reiterate what I said in the lobby - is at 1290 kg. currently (@gokartman78 were you at 1290?) and may go up to 1340 kg. I'm not surprised that it's GKM who found the limit of BMW, but I am surprised that the limit is so much faster than I thought. https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/thre...art-time-24-spaces.290162/page-7#post-9078479

...And the Audi, the little AWD rocket ship at the start... I'm considering putting it to 1380 kg. I haven't tested the '03 S4 yet, so I have to do that first. I know that it doesn't have any straight-line speed, it may end up getting more weight for corners and more power for straights.

I think the Alfa should get a weight break, it is awful in the corners. Tried some setup changes but it was pointless as the second race was wet, and I had no wet tyres.

Can anyone give me some setup advice for the alfa please.

Ok, but please dont turn it into an understeering brick.

I am currently ballasting the Alfa to bring it up to the weight limit, but it understeers so badly. Every little ding with the barrier punctures a tyre.

Putting the ballast towards the rear could be a possible step 1.

Stiffening rear suspension is definitely either step 1 or 2.

Adjust camber according to the weight and weight distribution, and take out some toe (set toe to negative values.)

Adjust the LSD to initial torque: 5, accel sensitivity 25, decel sensitivity to 10, and you have a good handling car.

What track we doing next week?

Silverstone National. :) This time, now that we sort of have an idea how to race cleanly with each other - good job on that, everyone - we can move on to a less challenging and more closely matched course... And there won't be rain, so the Audi will have to work to win. :)

The problem with the Audi isn't the overall speed - just the rain speed. It's much faster in the wet.

Sounds like I missed out on some good racing. I was able to connect perfectly when BW was the host, but couldn't when Mel or Ya-shoe were. If Nas can't connect when BW is host maybe we could find a host with a physical location in the middle of us both and see if that can get us both in?

It's called 4WD.

Well, asides from the inability to see each other, yes, there was great racing - akin to last season really. I'll have photos up soon.

I've already told @Gedi69 that he should try to host next week at Silverstone National. I'm hoping to set the lobby up, have him join, back out, and then re-enter with the three of you who suffer from the disconnections in all at once.

@Furinkazen, I don't even mind having AWD in the series, even if they do have a slight advantage in the rain, it's worth it in the dry. I've had lots of close racing in the dry conditions with the Audi. The Honda has the guts on a qualifying lap, the BMW has the corners in dry conditions, the Audi has the wet conditions, and everything else slots in their somewhere in the middle for now.

I should definitely be able to connect to Gedi so if Nas can connect to him it's all good 👍

If you are doing success ballast then there's not much need to worry about changing the car specs significantly. Obviously the more skilled drivers are going to be getting more out of each car, so the only main occasion where a change may be needed is if the same make of car constantly covers the top positions - then that's giving you an indication something isn't quite right.

I did a little testing with a few of the cars, I mostly found out what everyone has already stated. I can also add that (in my hands at least) the 406 is pretty useless, it's just a little off the pace in every aspect.

Precisely, except we're not running success ballast this season, I don't think.
