What would be interesting is just taking out the rounds without the Concept Cup drivers and seeing how they stack up with everyone else this year
And these are the facts, ladies and germs.....and whatever else you may be. After 24 scored races:
Most race wins- Carbonox & the 47, Furinkazen & the 54, and Harsk100 & the 96, all tied with two wins.
Most Top 5s- rallymorten and the #95 team with seven
Most Top 10s- rallymorten with 11 and the #54 team with 12 (Furi got 8, Angel has 4)
Most Poles- nascarfan1400 and the #14 team with 3
As for points, I'll post the driver's chase, team's chase, and the concept standings, but I will respond to any who want to know where they are in the standings.
Note: 6 races remaining, 41 points separate 1st and 42nd. Max points with 6 to go = 246.
Concept Cup (I'm teasing now, aren't I?)
CC1: #96 @Harsk100 - 439 points
CC2: #71 @raven214 - 411 (-28)
CC3: #76 @Niku Driver HC - 387 (-52)
CC4: #9 @Whitetail - 386 (-53)
CC5: #53 @Tired iron - 334 (-105)
Team's Chase Standings
1: Team #64 - 2119 points
2: Team #3 - 2101 (-18)
3: Team #99 - 2095 (-24)
4: Team #19 - 2086 (-33)
5: Team #24 - 2084 (-35)
6: Team #95 - 2083 (-36)
7: Team #1 - 2082 (-37)
8: Team #7 - 2077 (-42)
9: Team #79 - 2075 (-44)
10: Team #47 - 2067 (-52)
11: Team #54 - 2057 (-62)
12: Team #51 - 2034 (-85)
Fact: Those last three teams combined held the points lead after 16 of 20 events in the regular season. Ninners (5) and the 47 (4), AJHG (6) and the 51 (6), and Furinkazen (5) and the 54 (#6 earned with Angel at the wheel at Talladega II).
Another: two drivers and teams held the points lead, then failed to make the chase - Roflwaffle & the 16 after Daytona I, then ABP & the 18 after Kentucky. *Furi qualifies, but his injury hampers that somewhat.
Driver's Chase Standings
1: @The Bman - 2119 points
2: @Turbo_snail - 2104 (-15)
3: @GTracer98 - 2101 (-18)
4: @Michelin - 2095 (-24)
5: @goofytyler - 2086 (-33)
6: @Jahgee1124 - 2084 (-35)
7: @rallymorten - 2083 (-36)
8: @CodDemon101 - 2082 (-37)
9: @MrUnknown - 2077 (-42)
10: @BKGlover - 2075 (-44)
11: @Ninners - 2067 (-52)
12: @AJHG1000 - 2034 (-85)
What this all means- If 6-12 don't pick it up in either case, Homestead will only be for pride.
The Magic of Excel....for lack of a better term. No chase, straight points in the 17 events the Concept cup ran.
1. Michelin
2. Ninners
3. HARSK100!!!!!!!!
4. Roflwaffle
5. goofytyler
15. raven214
18. Niku Driver HC
19. Whitetail
...
36. Tired iron
I'd like to nominate Furinkazen, Ryou, and Tired iron for the 'Damn the luck' award now please.
EDIT: For giggles, I did the races since Angel started driving, and a few things. First, My guy must be claustrophobic and Furi's wreck scared him senseless because he's 33rd in that range. Second, nas did the worst, 42nd. Third, as good as Angel has been, she's only gained the 18th most points. Lastly, a Concept Cup driver has been best in the last 8 races, the 71 of @raven214.
First of all, BK, you deserve one of these:
I find it hard to believe that you sometimes go out of your way to say "I'm done with these series", when you also go out of your way to help in such a great manner. I mean come on, that was an incredible amount of effort to show us the updated standings, that deserves a lot more than a pat on the back. 👍
As for my results, I guess my own poor luck isn't too bad, since I am in third place of the Concept Cup. Problem is, Bambi is breathing on my neck, with just one point separating us. That ain't good, I need more of a gap. Overtaking both raven and Harsk would help too, har har.
Are you still into that little project we had?Thank you, my friend. Yes, I do get a bit (read: A LOT) charged with most of these series, and I chalk that up to being directly tied to most of them and being very competitive AND very demanding, even when control is impossible. It's why if I run something I don't get into the participation because I am very likely to make my stuff better than the rest or eschew the results in my own favor.
That said however, I'm always wanting to help in the little ways I can. My painting skills, imagination, opinions, data tracking, etc. may be average at best, but I try to use them to help anyone. I can't do streams with nas due to satellite internet, so I do this and have some other small things in mind.

Mmmmayybeee....Are you still into that little project we had?
Thanks Niku.Look, we all do our bit to help. Even if we can't do some things because we can't and/or don't have the means to do so, we should always try our hardest to be helpful. It's not wrong to do so, after all. Being competitive? I guess that's something some have more than others. But if they still feel like assisting other people, it's always good. Helping out with the scoring has saved Nas a whole lot of work, which I'm sure he'll be very thankful for. He'll know how hard you worked to get the scores correct, I bet on it.
No problem. When I'm in, I'm in good.@BKGlover Thank you for updating the points and give everyone a different perspective on how the points could be right now in a totally different situation. Glad to see how you and others are engaged in this.
Yes, revive it.No problem. When I'm in, I'm in good.
LolnopeMay try to finish out the season this week
Yeah that estimate was way off.Lolnope
As do I, It's probably the same thing but BKG typed faster.
Must have been a brain-wave hitting us both.As do I, It's probably the same thing but BKG typed faster.
Yes?
As for the series, everything is fine. I haven't forgotten, but I wanted the points to be fixed before I continued
We have 6 events left, and as far as I know one of our contenders has been jettisoned off-world permanently. Will we continue as planned?
Depends. Silver Wing did not face action because he had an account swap. It would depend on the severity of unknown's actions as to whether he's in or out.We have 6 events left, and as far as I know one of our contenders has been jettisoned off-world permanently. Will we continue as planned?

?I... wait, what?
Oh Nas, you card. You know what we are talking about, but you still jest.
Kick him out, I wanna pull a Penske/Hendrick and test out my new driver.
We're only getting started.
