Used Team Shmo's BMW VGT drift tune and got over twice the gold score on my very first attempt and as of this posting, I am 17th in the world rankings. (Granted it's pretty early, but still.)

7117 after a few attempts with the Starion Rally car - I couldn't be bothered to go and find another car after the rally trial. Just made a quick tune - lowered with firmed up springs, changed the torque split to 10F/90R and put on comfort hards.

@scmogt's bmw vision tune is every single kind of awesome for this event. I'm not that great at drifting so I usually just drive the course a few times very slowly to try and find the right lines and entry speeds.... The first turn went extremely well so I was just like "meh... let's try the next corner" and at the end of the first run I had almost double the score needed for gold. Usually it takes me hours to squeak out a gold score.

12,570pts with the Corvette C2 Race Car '63

As usual all performance parts installed, suspension and dampers as low and as stiff as possible, full camber, and maximum toe out, with differential at 60/60/40.
This time, a surprisingly short gearbox was needed, and still you need all gears apart from 1'st.
