Thanks for doing the video Joe. I was scrabbling about my house, trying to find my Grillapod, to mount an ancient camera onto, to take a grainy five minutes. Couldn't find it, and I'm glad I didn't, it would have looked like a bit of a half baked effort.

Thanks also to all who turned up last night and made it such a belting meeting, I really enjoyed running round with you fellas, and congratulations to Joe and Mark, both of whom broke the toe like kicking a cannon ball (Been saving that one up). Not at all easy at GV with enhanced slipstream.

And now, topic of the week...

Alright, I will chill out next time.

Harsk, I think I've been trying for over a year to usher you towards the standards the rest of us take for granted; I have failed. I've sent you a PM. Read it, and act upon it. No excuses, no apologies.

Cheers, Zo.

I recieved the message and I have read it.

Hey, that's a good description of what I'm doing when I get to join and race with you folks...

Too bad I missed Tuesday's session as it was a rare occasion to join the RR since @reefer and I are in the midst of the poorly named Golden Week.
Anyways, I don't want to shoot at the burning (and Eau-Rouge cutting) ambulance , but @Harsk100 buddy, your race manners as well as your post-race half-arse excuses EVERY single time are one of the reasons I don't show up as much as I used to here. Good thing you've read Zo's PM, which I haven't seen but surely can imagine the content. I admire everyone here for being so patient with you, it is clearly too much for me. I don't want to get deeper into this topic because I can already feel my words sliding towards the mental deficiency lexical field...
cheers chaps, have a blast

That's a beautiful phrase Gamer, almost poetic!

Well, if you can make it for next Tuesday you will be able to witness a new dawn in the history of Racers Reunited, with Harsk using all his undoubted powers to cleanly dice with everyone, whilst grappling with a power deficit (He's top man after GV). Or, you'll be able to wish each other an emotional farewell. I'll be interested to see who shows up...

I'll get post 1 updated shortly chaps. Pity Joe can't make it next week, he's on 88%, I think!

Cheers, Zo.

I probably might not be able to make it next week, since I don't know that track very well. :ill:

Half an hour's practice on it should have you up to speed Harsk. But if you can't make it, we'll perhaps see you at Spa 👍

By the way chaps, low slipstream will be the standard setting from now on, until it causes problems, which I hope it won't...

Cheers, Zo.

Well, I'm just not sure if I should race with you guys in next week, but I will see what I can do.

I will get some practice to see what happens...

How do the points work out? I have one less round competed than you guys and I lead the championship standings... :ill:

It's not a championship Harsk, it's a series of races with a similar theme. The points reflect the relative performances of drivers in the races they have competed in, in order to determine the handicap for each individual. In essence, each driver begins each week with a handicap, to reflect the performances so far, or no handicap, which reflects his/her performances so far. The performances you produced on Tuesday, 2nd, 1st, 5th, placed you at the top of the pack.

Cheers, Zo.

It's really a cool course and I feel like Stenmark on the top before it runs down the hills!
And after an hour of training I got a time of 1:35:157.
I'm looking forward to Tuesday.

Forgive me if it is here somewhere, there's a lot of pages, but, where is the race for next Tuesday pls?

That's one hell of a time Qken. Are you using C/M tyres?

My fastest so far is 1:35.8, C/M tyres 90% power, but I've just noticed that I should be on 88% power :dunce:

Don't forget chaps, the forecast is for rain on Tuesday!

Cheers, Zo.

I just managed a 1:35.2 Qken, so I guess the handicap is still working. I had a bash with 100% water also... About 9 seconds slower! I think that the weather might mix things up a bit tonight. I'm really looking forward to it 👍

Cheers, Zo.

Hi guys, I'm sorry, but it's less likely that I will make it. I have done zero Practice and I wouldn't be very good like I wanted to be. I'm not sure if I should come today to the meeting... :(

Well chaps, welcome to Garth and Wolf, who came to join the fun last night. And fun it was, I think. How Nimblebeat isn't credited with being one of the best tracks in the game I just don't know. It has to be said, not all cars get on with it; something with tricky handling turns the ski run into a bit of a lottery, but in 106 Rallyes it's simply sensational.

Suts and BB, you'd have loved it, I'm sure, but real life does get in the way sometimes :(

I'll update the first posts in a couple of minute chaps, and try to work out what handicapping is going to work at Spa. That track's going to be a challenge I imagine.

Cheers, Zo.
