Just to let you guys know, I wont be here much of Saturday. My friends' little brother is having a birthday party and Im invited. Cant miss laser tag!!! But will have plenty of time during the night to practice.....

Hey, maybe we should have a thread to post if we cant make it to a race or wont be around for a day or too. That way its more noticable and easier......
Let's get one thing clear right off the bat, THERE ARE NO MISSING ANY RACES!!! If you know that there is a time period that you cant race during, then don't sign up for that race, choose a different one where your schedule allows you the time. If your scheduled to race at a certain time and date, then you need to make the necessary adjustments to your schedule so that you can get your race submitted.
I work 70+ ****ing hours a week and I know that I will not miss a race of mine. I will do what it takes to get the job done and I expect that from the rest of you.
What we might have to end up doing is scheduling Fury into the later races. This will allow us some more time to find out where he is or find another suitable replacement for him.

have already got a decent setup for the Poly 001 at monaco recently winning No Quarters F1 spot race series on of the races being at cote
for the record ran a 1:09.***

I'm happy with the choice of races I've been chosen for. I've dropped Fury and e-mail and a PM. I'll start practicing this weekend, and start working through the times.
I'll also keep my eye open for Fury.
As a further note, (If Boom and Talentless have been watching) Sukerkin will be running the Pennzoil Nismo at Deep Forest. So we know some of the competition.

Ok, i've tried both my races today:
Round 6 - RuF 3400S @ Rome II
I did one Hard race, and i like this one very much. I always had a thing for the RuF's and Rome is one of my favorite tracks.
Round 1: Mazda RX-7 @ Swiss Alps.
I tried this one, and it took me 1 lap to find out that this race is ****ing hard! I think this one should be raced by steering wheel owners, because whatever i tried, i couldn't handle the immense power of the car with my DualShock2.

i like the nissan silvia race, i don't think i'd do well in the celica race.

Sorry I'm so late with this guys. What races are still open? I really like Cote D'Azur but really don't like the car of choice (rally car, and I've never driven any of the F1 cars before) and the fact that the race is 10 laps. Another consideration is the race at Seattle with the 'Teg, but then again I should shutup when it comes to preference because I'm jumping in so late.

Sorry to be a pain Kelly but I've only run about 5 clean laps EVER at Monaco and none have come in the F094/S there is no way I can do that race unless I go about 20 miles per hour around the entire track and then I still will probably hit a wall. If anyone wants to switch with me I'd love to switch races but if not I'll run it and I'll apologize early for getting last. I love Grand Valley though

I've tried the cars in free run, both will do. Only problems are the celica's transmission and getting the LSD down.

Boom, when I said to make a late topic, I meant for maybe a day or two, not a race. Just so you know that they didnt leave like we almost thought fury did.

BTW, I dont really like the Celica race etheir. Maybe an RX7 or spoon race........wherever else you could put me.....

Since everyone seems to hate the Seattle race with a passion, I would be interested in running that one. I ran quite a few tests there and did pretty good. Yes the understeer is quite evident but I'm getting used to it. I just have one question though: Are we allowed to have contact with the other cars? And if so, is there a limit to how many and the severity of the bumps we can have? I know we can't use the computer as barriers and go flying into the corners bouncing off of them.
I just want to know because I just couldn't imagine running that race as fast as possible without making contact with the other racers......

So I was right about, this being hard
and looks like I'm stuck with it but never mind I haven't tried it on the wheel yet and doubt it will be easier for me even though I use the wheel for TT8 this car is way faster and a pain in the ass on handling!
Nevertheless I have managed to get a clean 3 lap race done in it using the DS2, very slow but something I can work on at least, I fear though that clean races will be few and far between
