Racing Wheels? Controller Settings?PS4

I have decided that now that I have pCARS I will consider a racing wheel. I need one fitted to certain standards: it must be less than 200 USD, it must have an adequate amount of buttons, and it must be able to be easy to set up and put away. I am also trying to figure out the best controller settings, and I have found that it is EXTREMELY hard to find a decent setting for high and low speed corners, it seems to be one or the other, I understand the tuning of the cars, and have tweaked a few things to improve oferall steering, but I was just wondering what you guys may use for your controller settings.

Also, they must be compatible with most other racing sims out, or scheduled for ps4.

For less than $200 the selection for the PS4 is going to be small. If they supported Logitech then you might consider a DFGT or maybe a G27 but as is there are not many in that price range.

Just make sure that whatever you get is a real FFB wheel as some of the cheap ones are not worth the time it takes to connect them.

G27 is the way to go. I have seen two adapters to make them work with ps4 and Xbox one. One is offered by ricmotech can't remember what the other one is called. Just Google it. I haven't tried one. Just picked game up today. Definitely needs a wheel.

The G27 does not work on the PS4 . those adapters only give you rummble like a game pad .

Really. That sucks a bunch. I have seen some videos with ps4 game play with Logitech wheels. Looked like it worked.

Only wheel in your price range is the Thrustmaster T100. Decent enough starter wheel.

Do NOT BUY A Logitech G27 If You race on Sony PS4 Console, G27 is NOT compatible to the PS4


I use A Thrustmaster $99.00 T80 RS It has the same Wheel Rotation as the $125.00 T100 240° But it has no FFB, If you have never raced with FFB you'll never miss it, I started with a HKS II Racing controller, The benefits of the T80 over the T100 is the share button is on the wheel, the T100 has to be used with an DS4 to navigate the menu and share gameplay, I also use a wheelstand that folds up when not in use and sits behind the TV Stand, keeps the wife off my back LOL!! The only problem is there is no clamp or bracket to secure the pedals to the base, So I used duct tape, but Wheelstand pro sell a bracket that may be used, and they also sell a wheelstand for the T80 or T100 for $139.00 http://www.wheelstandpro.us/thrustmaster-wheel-stands/ the fastener is sold on the same page for $24.00
