Similar to some threads like Furi's Le Mans Bible, i'll be making infos on some rally cars in GT6 including some Pikes Peak Special Cars, Dream Rally Cars etc.
Note: If they are in bold, which means they're premium.
Audi S1 Sport Quattro Rally Car/Pikes Peak Edition
Since the 80s, Audi Sport has begun to dominate rally racing thanks to their S1, it was also another fast rally car compared to other rally cars. Also this car was named as Audi Quattro S1 E2. The S1 E2 was successful in the rally circuit, with Walter Röhrl.and Christian Geistdörfer wining the 1985 San Remo Rally. A modified version of the E2, was also driven by Michèle Mouton. The S1 evolution would become the final Group B car produced by Audi, with the works team withdrawing from the Championship following the 1986 rally in Portugal. The final factory machines of 1986 were rated at 441 kW (600 PS; 591 bhp).
The Pikes Peak Edition was entered in 1987 and driven by Walter Röhrl.
Specs for GT6
Rally Car Edition- 512 bhp @ 7500 rpm
Pikes Peak Edition- 590hp 1000kg
Real Spec
Rally Car Edition- 591hp(1987) still unknown.
Pikes Peak Edition- 590hp 1200kg
Hmmmm, they nailed it right for the Pikes Peak Edition but I think PD decreased the power for the Rally Car Version a bit, but still a monster for rally without the Escudo.
Citroen Xsara Rally Car '01
The Xsara Kit Car or Rally Car was having a very little resemblance to its city/road version but in terms of performance, well as an FF car you normally have weakness in power but this car has very different performance and since its in the hands of Sebastien Loeb, this car dominated WRC and its considered as the best car in the 2002 season also leading to its first class win(F2 Kit Car Class) but then in 2007, this car was replaced by a more dominating car, the C4.
Specs for GT6
309hp/8500rpm
960kg
Real Specs
310hp/5500rpm
1230kg
A bit light perhaps PD.....but they did right with the power but they have become drunk in terms of RPM.
Citroen C4 WRC '08
Like the Xsara, its glorious predecessor, the Citroën C4 WRC features four-wheel drive and a 2-litre Turbocharged engine mated to a cross-mounted 6-speed gearbox. At 4.20 m, the C4 WRC is longer than the Xsara and, in line with regulations, therefore has a larger width of 1,800 mm, compared with 1,700 mm for the Xsara. This change should provide better stability on bends.
Also this led Loeb to winning back to back WRC titles plus leading to a more powerful successor, the DS3.
GT6 Specs
321hp @ ????rpm (can someone tell me whats the rpm?)
Real Spec
315 bhp / 235 KW @ 5500 rpm
Wow. Bang on PD especially making Sebastien Loeb in the game.
Ford Escort Rally Car
The Escort Cosworth was developed by the Ford works rally team during 1991 and 1992. Its first appearances, prior to homologation, were in the Spanish championship, in the hands of Jose Maria Bardolet, and on the 1992 Scottish Rally, where it was driven byMalcolm Wilson, who was also the lead development driver. Wilson was not formally competing in the event, but his stage times were faster than those of winner Colin McRae. During the latter part of the 1992 season, development of the Sierra Cosworth came to an end, and the works team drivers Francois Delecour and Massimo Biasion concentrated on readying the Escort for competition.
But this car was replaced by the Focus.
GT6 specs
290 BHP @1230kg
Real spec
312bhp @ 6250 rpm (1230kg)
Why would PD underpower this car, especially since this car has 10 WRC victories. But still could be a dominant rally car but still, no street version.
Ford Focus Rally Car(Colin
The first version of the car was built in 1999 to replace the Ford Escort WRC. It debuted in the Monte Carlo Rally with Colin McRae and Simon Jean-Joseph behind the wheels of the two cars. It was immediately on the pace, setting many fastest stage times, but the use of an illegal water pump meant that the two cars were excluded from the event. McRae gave the Focus its first win two events later on the Safari Rally Kenya finishing over 15 minutes ahead of the second placed Toyota of Didier Auriol.
This car was well known with its Ford logo in the sides but used to have a blue color option.
GT6 Specs
305hp/ 1230kg
Real Spec
300hp @6500rpm 1330kg
Hmmmm, i dont know if im correct because the real spec i got is the 2003 version but still a dominant rally car but easily overtaken by the WRC 2008 version. However a bit light perhaps.
Note: If they are in bold, which means they're premium.
