the favs seem to change from day to day...

i still pick seb, even tho all the citroen drivers are off the pace for the shakedown.
petter might not have a ride after a crash (he was 5th fastest tho)
it seem the the frods are fastest at the moment tho.

seb says "this is no indication as this (shakedown stage) is alot wider (and smoother) than the rally stages"...

Absolutely. Due to my utter hatred of Richard Burns, I would like to see Seb do it. Plus I think he's pretty damn good, and he's going to win a World Championship some day soon anyway.

Having seen the standings, I'd love to see Solberg take it, but I must confess I would dearly love to see Sainz take it out, and score one for the old blokes!

I'm inclined to agree with you on Loeb, though - he's sure to win a championship some day.

Well Solberg has proven something by winning on tarmac, surely he wouldn't have pulled it off if Loeb hadn't had his own misfortune, but he knows how to keep a nice pace nonetheless.
I'm kinda torn when it comes to who I would like to see win the WRC, Sainz hasn't won since '92 and he really deserves another title 'cause of the consistency he's shown this year. Then there's Petter who... well he's Solberg he's the most likeable driver the series has ever had and one of the most professional and committed we'll see in a while.
It's all the same to me if Burns by some fluke of nature wins. Say what you say he's in the WRC for a reason.
