On the contrary, I love VR and it's what made me switch from PS4 to a PC+VR. It's awesome!
The problem is everything around VR. Some little nuances and annoyances that made me feel a bit held back by it:
-it's uncomfortable for long sessions. So I found myself avoiding any race longer than 1hr (although these are the most interesting races).
-it's sweaty and hot. I don't have any active cooling in my room (except for fans), so my eyes and whole face get very sweaty after like 30min of use.
-it's a bit buggy. Sometimes I get very bad performance so I need to make couple of reboots for it to perform well.
Sometimes, a single SteamVR update, OR WMR update OR Windows update OR Nvidea update can **** up everything. Happened to me twice in like a year. VR got completely unusable after a windows update.
-Some games don't support VR so you'll end up playing on a screen. (You can at least play any game on triples even if it doesn't support true multipleview rendering).
-Sometimes a stupid thing like watching a race replay can become a pain in VR. You can't see regular 2D replays on screen when VR is activated. You will have to exist VR completely and then rewatch the replay. The problem is that some games, like Dirt Rally, don't support replay saving, so there's no way to watch/keep/record any replay from Dirt rally when you're in VR. It's gone and lost.
-Let alone the known issues like resolution, clarity, ability to read braking markers, eye strain, etc...
That's why I got triple. I still have VR and love it. I've not used VR in like a couple of month though. Not sure what will happen from this point forward...
