Laziness, sorta; the GRF Club did the same kind of championship at the same time, but shorter, so I entered that instead of this

The finale of the 1995 World Rally Championship would see rally titans Colin McRae and Carlos Sainz do battle to bitter end. After the team order controversy of Spain, it was all to play for. It went much as expected given Colin's affinity for the British roads. After just 3 stages, his advantage hit half a minute. Sainz was doing what he could and taking risks but he could not keep McRae in his sights. By the time the end of the rally came, McRae had won 18 out of a possible 28 stages, clinching the title in the most spectacular fashion. Sainz came home 2nd and Burns made it another Subaru 1-2-3 with a superb podium. It got better for the McRae family though as 4th place man Bruno Thiry took a late service penalty after damage, promoting Alistair McRae to P4 in his Escort Cosworth. Gwyndaf Evans made it 4 Brits in the top 6 as he powered his F2 Ford Escort RS2000 to a stunning 6th place.
But the title was Colin McRae's and Subaru were the manufacturers champions.
