I'm interested. Based on who's here, do I get any sort of a handicap, or am I the 3 Stooges, rolled-into-a-roll-cage?

(joking! - but y'all are gonna beat me like a drum - I want to find out how to see the good laps to learn from them, or to get better, really)

I don't have any of the number one classes

lifesagamble420; Ford RS200 Rally car Round 1: Class B, ABS 1, manual transmission, engine at 90.6, 1:48:824

lifesagamble420; Subaru Impreza WRC, Round 2. ABS 1, Manual transmission, engine at 91.5%, 1:18:765

lifesagamble420; Subaru Impreza WRC, Round 3. ABS 1, Manual transmission, engine at 91.5%, 2:18:124
(didn't go with more horsepower, and still only had one clean lap out of like 20) Car got a little beat up too haha)

You didn't have to go and do them all now, I won't be entering the data in until the first day for that era comes around :/

Big props for using the format though, nice and easy for me to read 👍

I'd be interested in this. Not a tuner myself, nor have I ever entered a time trial before, but being such a huge rally fan I can't miss it. 👍

If anyone is struggling on cars, I have every tradeable rally car in the game, so I'll gladly dupe one. I also have a spare Peugeot 206 if anyone wants it. :D

Yeah, the rally cars don't get a whole lot of love in the game so I figured they were due some

I am horrible at tuning as well....that's what searching on Google is for :D

After Bronco managed a time some 4 seconds faster than me with the same car, I'll be hoping to pick up some tips as well!

I thought they were gonna be due in today haha, My chest was hurting a bit in thelast one so I quit for a bit.

count me in. I'll run times as i get free time, which should be sporadic at best for the next month, then I should be able to get you lots of numbers. Are you looking for each of us to run every car on that list? I got lots of rally cars, not sure if I have all those though.

No, you can just run whichever car you want for that era and submit your best effort. And yeah, I was hoping that, by allowing a week per era, it would give everyone a chance to get something in :)

Edit: well, we have about a dozen people so that's enough for me....start with your times whenever you like for round 1 :)

Well, since no one's posted since Thursday, it looks like I'll have to get the ball rolling on this and hope I don't get in trouble for a double post :scared:

I'm not saying I don't believe you, but a photo like that doesn't prove a thing. :P

I could upload the video but that would probably take about 3 hours knowing how slow youtube is

I put 3 laps down at Monaco to determine a fair result, with my 2nd lap being the best. I haven't tuned the car as of yet, so if I can find a tune 530pp or under I might give it a shot.

wolfdragon97; Ford RS200 Rally Car '85, DS3, ABS 1, auto transmission, engine at 82.7%, 1:46.837

I'll post proof pictures soon! I would upload the replay too, but... I don't know how to do that. >.>

Only got a couple days left to post those times for the first round, everyone....I only have wolfdragon and myself so far.

I decided to represent Lancia, if for no other reason than the simple fact that I like their cars. They look good. They're fast. They melt in a drizzle.

So, for the first one, the Stratos. This baby can turn in like nothing I've seen before. Of course, the downside to that is that it also has snap oversteer, especially while coasting or maintaining speed, for some reason. I'm sure I could bite at least a second off of this with a perfect lap, but the laps I did with it already rank as some of the hardest things I've ever done. This thing is the king of the twitch.

Apmaddock; Lancia Stratos Rally Car '77, DFGT, ABS 1, Manual Transmission, Engine at 79.9%, 1:49.505

Next was the Delta. This thing was much, much more planted. The understeer of a 4WD was there, but not horrible by any means. You could jump right on the power out of a turn, though, thanks to its sure-footedness. Again, I could do better, I think, but it's late, so this will stand for now.

Apmaddock; Lancia Delta S4 Rally Car '85, DFGT, ABS 1, Manual Transmission, Engine at 71.7%, 1:42.830

Also, tez, I don't have permission to look at your chart. Could you open it to read only or something? Or is nothing there yet?

I thought I changed the access for it last week but I guess not....it says it's on share now so hopefully everyone can see it :/

It seems to work, now. Looks like I'd better get back to whittling the time down on that Stratos, though. ;)

Apparently I'm breaking the Stratos in. I had to reduce the engine a bit more to get under the PP limit. About 10 laps later I put up this:

Apmaddock; Lancia Stratos Rally Car '77, DFGT, ABS 1, Manual Transmission, Engine at 79.5%, 1:47.298

Looks like this fell flat this past week....maybe I should keep round 1 open for another week :/

I am just getting my legs back under me from the first week of school, and I am still interested. I will try to run tonight, Tues is my only non-kids practice, etc (every other week).

I feel like giving this a go. Could be a good practice for my WRC championship :)

Last week was really busy for me being out of town since thursday. I will try to post some times this week for Monaco

This is going to be a lot of fun. The following time was done with only engine limiting to fit the regulations, brake balance, and aero set to max.

cmbeal317; RS200 Rally Car , DFGT, ABS 1, manual transmission, engine at 77.3%, 1:42.342s

eep! Guess I have to run the Delta again, now.

I'm gonna try running the RS200 later tonight again and see if I can get something figured out with the suspension and the LSD to get a little faster. I tried a tune I found last night and it sucked horribly. I couldn't even keep up with my ghost. I've also got to decide what to try for Group A.

Round 1 is now closed....disappointing turnout with only five times entered from twelve initial signups (thirteen if AOS- is counted but they said later on that they wouldn't be able to do it) :indiff:

Round 2 will open on Sunday and it will only go for a week this time, no excuses :P

Speaking of entries, I'll have to withdraw as I'm too busy with the other championships I'm running. But good luck to all of you :)

Ready for Sunday here. Just need to slap some snow tires on my ST205 and pray my dirt tune works on snow. :mischievous:

Right, I had a go in the Lancia (I was going to say a 'quick go' but then I see that I did 20 laps, lol)....the laptime is so much quicker than Monaco

tezgm99; Delta Integrale, DS3, ABS 1, auto transmission, engine at 99.9%, 1:16.115s

If I could ever get that slow hairpin near the end of the lap right, a 1:15 is possible for me :)

Edit: I do enjoy this track, has a good flow to it and I found it easy to get into some semblance of a rhythm. My best time was on lap 17 and the tyres were still showing as 'brand new blue'

Did a handful of laps in my ST205; tune in the thread linked by Hami previously. Getting a hair over 18s so far. Never run this course nor much on snow but it certainly is fun. Need to adjust my final a bit and drop the power limiter if I have it on but up until the slow left sweeper/right hairpin it feels not unlike just driving on tarmac.
