Audi S4: 92/100
Six hundred horsepower, 4wd, and a 2800lb car. So it's going to be a disappointment, right? Not exactly. This is an Audi, so you know it's smooth, and it doesn't quite act like an overweight bastard. An few tweaks will yield some nice results. So fully-tune it, and take on the GT500 crew for some laughs. My gripes are the weight problem (definately last away from the line) and the racing mod at night tracks. You read that right, Rome Night, Clubman, and SSR5 freak out the paintjob's 4 rings. By day, the racing mod looks fine, no problems. Wierd, huh?
Skyline SR-X '84: 70/100
Nothing very special, JAS (Just Another Skyline) to some, but it's FR, not 4WD, so it's a little different. If you like 80's cars, then you have to have this boxy one. When the dust settles, and the upgrades have been done, you have 405hp, and a fairly light-weight Skyline. That's enough to win the GT300 championship.
CLK Race Car (gameshark required): 90/100
I like this one for the same reasons I like the Altezza LM. No unsightly racing paint. Tastefully-styled exterior shape. not the quickest thing in GT2, but very nice brakes. So outbraking faster competitors is a breeze. Handles nicely, just a little wishy-washy (but that's how I like my 4WDs!). Drawbacks: Impossible to find without a GameShark (or find someone with it on a mem card), and the high-revving engine doesn't make much torque. Okay for fast circuits, but sluggish around places like Autumn Ring and Seattle Short.
