Well, it's been a while since I've made a poll, and with GT Sport right around the corner, I'm asking you to rate GT Sport from 1 to 10 given everything we know and have seen so far.

I gave it a 5 because, despite the awesome graphics and Scapes, PD just doesn't listen to fans' complaints about problems that should've been addressed a long time ago. In addition to reducing content and taking 4 years to come with a Prologue-ish game and changing the focus to e-sports, I'm really disappointed.

About what we know, have seen and what I've tried out on the Beta..

My rating is a 5.

Good pad implementation, regular FFB on wheel with the last couple of beta updates, nice graphics..

Regular sounds, they improved compared with other GT games.. But find other games better..

Physics OK and funny. Could improve a lot more if they promote the game as the most realistic sim.

Content wise....not really happy, i really miss a good offline GT Mode..

Based on what I know and have read I gave it a 3. In all the critical areas save for visuals, I think GT is trailing some or all of the pack. Sounds, FFB, car and track selection, offline gameplay etc. There is some potential to provide good online racing via the driver rating system but the beta left me unconvinced.

How can you rate a game without playing it ? What's the point ?

That's senseless...
....given everything we know and have seen so far....

Where's the zero score? I've given it 1 out of 10. That's 1 too many.

And yes. I played the beta.

Why zero? Because I'm a solo player.

If I was an online player it would get 7 maybe 8.

Certainly reading votes ranging from 1 to 5 for what has been seen and what came out of the previews, which has all talked to him a great deal, is hilarious .

If I had to give a vote, I would say a 7.5 or 8 only for the few contents compared to the competitors, but considering the very solid base they built, to give less than 7 is nonsense:indiff:

With the benefit of the doubt and because my nature is more half full then half empty and also with the knowledge until today it is a six. And hopefully around release date we have much more info that we are eagerly looking forward to. Make me regret my six. Then I will ask to reopen the poll and give it an eight. But man I really hoped for a nine already.

To be honest and it is just one opinion of an average racer. I jumped on the hype train before the beta was released. I spent lots of hours on the beta and had real fun. Then after some updates I was missing the much anticipated FBB/Physics simulation. That was and still is based on the phrase 'the real simulator'. I will not compare with other sims again/yet to reopen the discussion again and certainly not in this voting topic.

So with that said I think GTS will be a great eye popping graphical race game and for me with a special focus on PSVR and Scapes and no not for the real life like racing experience. But all in all it's absolutely worth the 'investment'. At least I hope it will be worth it :)

Why? Without any meaningful offline content the game is useless to me, so how good the graphics/physics/sound etc may or may not be becomes irrelevant. 1 for me.

7 think it's deserved ^^
I also gave it a 7, which is good but not good enough.

The graphics are fantastic, they're pretty much industry leading! The textures look pretty good, the lighting is absolutely GORGEOUS, AND THE TREES, OMG THE TREES!

The lack of dynamic time of day and weather is rather dissapointing, however it is cool that they included multiple conditions for each track, it's more consistent now. I can't wait to see the (highly possible) inclusion of rain in the game! :)

The sounds have improved dramatically! They aren't industry leading, but they aren't bad anymore. None of them sound like vacuum cleaners anymore, which is awesome. They sound like lawnmowers now! :sly:

The physics look very decent, but I haven't played the game myself, so I can't say much more there.

The lack of the GT Mode is a shame, although I don't have much against the current Campaign mode as far as I've seen. The inclusion of Custom Race in the Arcade mode is very cool, but we know almost nothing about it at the moment. So I can't say more about that either.

The inclusion of the Livery Editor is very cool, and it is very impressive! Definetly something I will be playing around with when I get the game! Scapes are also very cool, so I'll also play around with it! :D

I can't say much about VR. It's a shame it isn't fully compatible with it, but how many AI cars are you going to be able to race against though? The official statement is 1v1 races, but the recent GT Sport VR trailer shows we might have more than 1 competitor during a race in VR. Let's not forget that fake information in a commercial is illegal if I'm not mistaken, and movie/game trailers are pretty much that. It did say the footage was captured on a PS4 Pro, so perhaps the PS4 Pro version of the game will have more AI cars on track? :boggled:

The lack of microtransactions is very nice to hear because I don't like them, even when they're not being shoved down your throat. :)

The low amount of cars and tracks is a shame though. I do like the fantasy race cars and the new fantasy tracks though, and the fact that we're getting more content after GTS is released is great! Let's hope the post launch support will be better than with GT5 and GT6 though! :D

Anyways, can't wait to see the final game in October! :)

Yeah, the online features will make or break this game. If they blow away the competition in this area, I'll be able to enjoy the game a lot even though the car/track selection is smaller and the physics are less realistic than what PCars2 offers.

Currently I give GTS a "preview rating" of 7. I'm hopeful that it will own, but I expect it to be a bit underwhelming.

I hate to sound like my wife, but that's a little premature, isn't it?

Maybe we should close this until release? I will rate the game, when I get it home. As for now there's nothing to go on except videos, screen shots, the beta and Kaz's words. That's not the game, that's glimpses of it. How anyone can rate it, good or bad, is beyond me.

And we have a lot of information to go by. Of course we don't know everything, but there's still enough information to make a preview. Most people will decide whether to buy the game or not based on what they hear and see. If they don't like it, they probably won't spend their money on it. That's how it works.

Also, sorry for double-posting.

I'd give GTS a solid 7.5-8/10 as of now. this can change once I've played the game. But overall, with the exception being the offline content, GTS seems great to me. It sounds great, looks great and apparently plays great. With features such as livery editor and scapes added to the game, this game is shaping up to be something great , to me at least.

It's all about personal preference at the end of the day, the beta for me was a solid 7, I enjoyed it, sure there's no traditional campaign as such in GTS but it doesn't bother me as I like what I see from GTS gameplay videos and I'm excited for this game.

Based on what's been shown already, GTS is only worth a 5. The graphics are nice, lighting is on point, livery editor is very in-depth and high quality, and sounds have shown actual improvements in areas. However, the issues like no single player career, weak car and track lists (by GT standards), below par AI and lack of dynamic time and weather outweigh the positives.

5 Because the car list, right now, is meh. I'm a solo player but may play online if there were more interesting cars. Right now I'll wait until I find a copy in the bargain bin to buy and keep playing GT5/6. "Stickers" and photo mode are a waste of space as I have never used them and never will.

I went for a six. Game looks beautiful and is beautifully presented with an intriguing e-sports focus that could be fantastic. However, a poor car list, broken BOP system in the beta and a frankly appallingly embarrassing track list drag it down. That score could go up or down come release.
