I'm just trying to figure out why it's ok for blacks to be racist and for democrats(Hilary Clinton) to make racist statements. I'm just wondering. :boggled:
What I'm trying to figure out is how a black person can make a white joke and be funny while a white person makes a black joke, and he's suddenly the most racist **** in the world....

Seriously...

It's not what is said, its who is laughing at it. you could protest people to not laugh at the jokes:indiff: . What example are you talking about.

Personally, I see the stars and bars as an insult to the union rather than black people. People who still wave them are unamerican.

Thats what i think when i see em and they only seem to be on rickety pickup trucks and 18 wheelers.

(Hilary Clinton) :boggled:
Did you see Saturday Night Live where they were making fun of all this with an Anderson Cooper sketch? They were "interviewing" Ray Nagin, Jasse Jackson and Hilary Clinton. Nagin and Jackson went on naming all the dessert foods they could to name all the races so that New Orleans could be a dessert buffet and then they ask Hilary about her recent comments comparing Congress to a plantation and she said, "What people are forgetting, Anderson, is that I was talking to an all-black audience. I was pandering." I don't think I have ever seen a more honest parody in my life.

Ever seen anything done by Chris Rock or Dave Chappelle? Heck, on Chapelle's Show he even did some white face, changed his voice, and acted all stiff.. What do you think the reaction to a white comic doing a skit while wearing black face and acting in stereotypes would be? I doubt he could get away with saying he was just trying to bring some flavor to things by adding the dark chocolate to his milk white face to make a nice chocolatey drink.

But most of the people who show that flag/symbol are not saying that they would prefer the tariff policies of the south. They have a specific goal in mind when they fly that flag and it is rude and stupid. However, they have that right and anyone offended by it should just refuse to deal with that person and be done with it. Stupidity and free thought cannot be legislated.

Hey fool killer if more people laugh at white comedians doing stuff like that, it wont matter if its actually funny unless he was a blament racist and just being a comic. If its somene's boss or somene who then its a problem. Comedy is comedy. Saying something racist and being raist are not the same. i'm black i could care less about it.

I agree that it shouldn't matter and people shouldn't be so sensitive but if Collin Quinn or Dennis Leary tried something like that it would get them chased off stage. There is a double standard and it needs to be removed.
