The raybrig is definately crap!!! I drove it on 2 courses the other night and got a 58.6 on midfield and a 1:05.9 on laguna seca. The car wonders on the straights and slides like its on greese around turns! mabey its my setup or maybe its my driving but if anyone knows what im talking about or have had a similar experience, comment. What are everyones thoughts on the car?

The Raybrig is great.

I think it's a great car. I never have any trouble driving it.

I do doubt your times, however, unless you're pushing over 1000 hp in it. Even then, you're in the top handful of times at Midfield in that car. You could be a force in the Online Racing world with times like that.

Maybe the reason I don't have any trouble driving the Raybrig is that I didn't double the stock horsepower and expect the car to drive the same way.

Why don't you have a go in, say, the Toyota GT One at Midfield, and post some of your times here?

How long did that picture take you to do? It's very nice. 👍

However, you're complaining about it but that Midfield time is fast...

The Midfield time is about a second off the ARTA/Raybrig/Mugen record, and the Laguna one is about 0.2s off.

HA HA HA! What a piece! And this guy can't drive for nothing!

Ok, so seriously. It's an NSX - known to be one of the better cars in GT3. It's a JGTC car, also known to be a better class for GT3. And it's purple - nothing beats purple paint.

Looks like the best car in the game to me. Pretty hard to beat.

i Have 1033 hp in the car so its at its peak! I got the midfield time after about an hour of trying to set the car up and then the laguna time took me forever. I was stuck at a 1:06.288 for the longest time. Ive never tried to use the gt1 toyota on midfield but i have done midfield with the r390 race car!! I got a 53.985 which is decent!!

The problem with the car is when u really start to push the car for a good time it starts having all the characteristics i mentioned!! Especially the wondering!!

That's about 1.4" off the top time, but it's in the top 10. I suggest you start submitting your times for verification.

I think it seems to be great. Not to be compared to the tugboat Pennzoil Skyline in comparison with its siblings. It's a lot more crappy than how the Raybrig NSX compares to it's brother NSX cars..

Well, how does it compare to the Arta and Mugen NSX's in your opinion? Personally, I find that they're all great cars. If it slides a bit, maybe that's cause it's got 1000 hp. But...how could you go wrong with an NSX? And...it's purple! With purple headlights!

This is why I almost never go full-build power on any of my GT3 cars. On most of them, the horsepower numbers are so insanely inflated that you overdrive the chassis and they become no fun to drive, no matter what kind of delta-v figures you can generate.

I admit the purpleness is pretty awesome. Its still the wondering purple nsx. C'mon you guys, stop covering for the nsx.It wonders like a hobo and you know it!!!!!

The only other nsx i have is the mugen nsx!! The mugen drives better , i don't have the arta unfortunately!!

👍 !!

I used to drive the Raybrig NSX in enduros all the time. I've racked up some 1700km on it, and that was in the space of a week, as I remember...

I say "used to" because I never play GT3 anymore, apart from the odd drift or two, or to try out a setting.

The Raybrig NSX - or any race-prepped NSX for that matter, is one of the best handling cars in the game. Check out www.gtvault.com - you should find some really useful stuff.

I ended up with the Raybrig after a whole weekend of racing. I was going thru the stack of junky prize cars in my garage, just deleting, but something made me stop at the Raybrig, and take it to midfield for a test drive. Man I'm glad I kept it, after a little tweaking it was amazing, and I thought "My god I almost deleted this, and it's the best regular type car in the game".
This is an NSX that you can strap a turbo on, and that's really pretty amazing when you think about it. My Raybrig is up to 1033 HP now, and it rides pretty steady for me down straights. Maniac, it sounds to me like maybe the toe-in settings on your wheels might need a bit of adjusting. Also your times are amazing you're like 5 seconds faster than me at least lol.
Write down the settings you have now on your car, and then try these

springs - 14.5 / 16.8
Ride - 45mm / 45mm
Bound - 7/7
Rebound - 7/7
Camber - 2.0 / 1.0
Toe - 0.0 / -1.0
Stabs - 5/5
Brakes - 15/10
LSD - 10/60/60
Trans: Auto 32
1- 3.966
2- 2.656
3- 1.933
4- 1.475
5- 1.167
6- 0.868
Final - 4.062
Down - 0.66 / 0.66
ASM - 20
TCS - 10

And thats how I ride it, it's really stable to me. I have always been happy with the Raybrig because it will do just about anything I ask it to

The wandering is between your ears, it is exactly the same car as the Mugen NSX. (Sorry, don't take it so seriously :))
