Fiction. As far as I know, anyway.

Thanks. I was searching for real-life pics of one from the Trans-Am series but haven't been able to find one. Kinda tough cuz when you type “Camaro Race Car’ into a search engine, it sends you back a ton of GT3 stuff. :indiff:

i found the Pagani Zonda race car, it's not exactly the same paint job

Just a note:

"Every single car labelled 'LM' in Gran Turismo is completely designed by Polyphony and does not exist in real life. Although, various LM cars are based on existing race models"

Camaro LM is fiction. But a car similar in look raced in Trans-Am, sounded a heck-of-a-lot different.

That's what I'm after. Any idea where I could find a pic or info on this Camaro? I've been to a slew of different websites and can't find anything.

That will do me for now, I'll put some more up if or when I come across them.

That Gillet Vertigo looked visually stunning in my opinion, the production version atleast.

As for the LM cars being purely designed by Polyphony, there may be a few exceptions where the LM can be
misinterpreted.
Namely, the R33-LM Road car, even though it hasn't anything to do with the 'LM' cars designed by Polyphony.

The basic idea for the 'LM' cars was Polyphony's way of creating and exploiting popular cars that the Autmotive enthusiast like you and me, could only dream they developed.

Another term used commonly by Polyphony is the 'Dream Car' class.
And They've seemed to hit the nail on the head when it comes to 'Dream Cars' as the GTR Concept LM design is somewhat amazing.

Since we're on Zondas - their latest and greatest.

Glad you like it. A few more less exotic ones:

Close to an RX-7LM?

Those FD Bathurst RX-7's are as rare as hell and that no-doubt GT-inspired FD looks nice. Though, the Veilside rims that accompany it could of been used better.
