Real-time weather discussion

I love the idea of real weather. Here are a few of my thoughts I have on it:

- Longer tracks*, such as Spa, Nurburgring, etc. have spotty weather. It could be raining in Kesselchen but sunny on the Dottinger straight. This would be damn near impossible to reproduce on a practical level. I have a feeling that someone will whine about this when it really happens- not to mention if the reproduced weather isn't 100% accurate.
*(and occasionally smaller ones)

-Snow. I would love snow, but I don't know if everyone would. After a large snowstorm, would the game act like the track is plowed? Realism would take a large hit in this way. If it snowed last night, it doesn't just disappear, but would we pretend it doesn't exist?

-Racing line. No, not that blue/red one... the worn racing line due to rubber buildup. If the game integrates a live weather scenario, I don't want to see a clear rubbered track in the afternoon after a morning thundershower. I want a green track that punishes poor driving (wears tires more) and depending on race length, it rubbers in.

-Wind is okay. You have to include temperature, but barometric pressure and humidity aren't really necessary to me. If they can only set up three variables for the weather, temps, pressure, and wind are enough for me.

-Finally, track surfaces and their unique consequences. There will need to be puddles, the more abrasive surfaces won't be as slick in the rain, etc. etc. They cannot setup the weather model uniformly. 20*C, light rain, 4PM at Laguna Seca is not the same as identical conditions at Suzuka. This can be done with topography and modelling.

As always, if they're going to do it, please do it proper. I don't want a feature that's only available at 20% of the tracks. Don't set it up at all of the tracks and it be rubbish, either.

Just my four cents.
