The TGTT just baffled me. The image was copyrighted for 2011, but the 747 was in the wrong place and instead of having the custom engine layout (as seen in GT5) it had the same engine layout you would find on any 747 currently in commercial use.

I will stop playing GT5 because of this.

As far as I know, GT5's TGTT is pretty perfect, minus a few smaller aircraft (which are hard to spot anyway)

I was playing around with Google Earth tonight and thought this might be interesting. I couldn't find too many of the City Circuits, but here are the big ones. :)

Yeah, I couldn't resist the urge to look up real-world tracks a year or so ago. I hunted around Google Earth, using coordinates I obtained from Wikipedia, and created a directory of them. I've got all the Formula One circuits used in recent years plus some that appeared in Forza, like Road America, Road Atlanta, Twin Ring Motegi, Mugello, and Sebring.

cool pics from laguna seca

Just out of curiosity....

I wonder if they had the google-street van go on the course, or if they mounted the 360 camera on a racecar

I'm not going to hunt around for it since my DSL is slow, but I'm 99% certain you can see the van's shadow in some spots along the track. I'm also pretty certain that those cars weren't at racing speeds when the van was making its trip around the circuit.
