The way the headlights and brake lights bounce off of other cars and parts of the environment is seriously impressive. Miles ahead of Horizon 1, and actually gives me hope for night time in the main series soon.
And a little unorthodox GT40 useage:
I find myself trying harder for realistic shots in Horizon 2 than in any Forza. Usually I just go for style, but something about the game makes me want to make it look as real as I can.
I never realized how much I loved the 1M until last night.
Also, I am really really proud of that first shot. The way the light catches on the rims and reflects off the side of a wet car like that just blows me away.
The wet weather graphics are astonishing. In clear conditions it looks quite good, nothing special, but as soon as the car is wet and the light changes, it's cutting edge stuff.
So I bought this for a certain race before realizing that the grip levels make C class horribly boring. Then I made an A class grip-less burnout monster and it's so much fun.
