Realistic Tires Racing Crew

Hi guys,

I find the most fun I have in GT6 is taking a 400pp car occasionally going up to 550pp with comfort mediums/comfort softs/sports hards and racing it...around a tight technical track like Matterhorn Rotenboden is my favorite, also Eiger Nordwand Short track :).but I find almost nobody likes this type of racing? Everybody is on racing softs... What is the point then....I'd just go play Midnight Club it has better gameplay.

The CM/CS/occasional SH tires slows the speed down compared to Sports softs....so you don't tire as much if you have concentration issues, and is just overall the most fun compared to lapping with SPORTS SOFTS which require a lot more concentration and isn't really relaxing...plus I don't like it when the car is glued to the ground it makes it quite boring to drive :)If you are driving at a competitive speed you will tire out much quicker because you are driving a faster vehicle due to the grippier tires.

Basically, you get to simulate real life grip levels, driver skills shine, toll on the body is lower, you get to play longer, and have more fun (IMHO) during the time you are playing

If you guys like this racing please add me :)

Of course, if you are racing with a 458 you will need sports hards, compared to if you are doing a 450pp race it will be comfort mediums or comfort softs :) This is for the most realism.

If you like increasing the fun by using REALISTIC tires while you are virtual racing...do post in this thread and/or add me! I have concentration issues right now so I pretty much have to keep concentration levels DOWN or I will have a headache and have to take a break from GT6; if I try to do one lap of nordschleife at pro speeds with a 600pp car, my head will start hurting before that 6min mark and I will have to take a break from GT6 (when my gaming session has just started). The concentration is just too high and I cannot drive like I used to. That is why I enjoy wringing the neck of a slower 450~pp car on comfort tires on a technical tight track like ROTENBODEN OR EIGER short track:).

Hi gents, you sound you and I like the same type of racing. I'm from Blighty mind, so there might be a time zone problem to be overcome, but I'm prepared to try if it means I can get some car-moving-around-gentle-on-that-throttle! racing.

I'll send you both FRs, if that's okay.

Cheers, Zo.
