Make me a mod again  just kidding, ok here it goes.

Would it be possible if you could like have sounds on the site, like when we click on a button a random tire squelling, engine revving, etc. happens?

It's possible, but I'm not sure if some of our visitors would appreciate it in some circumstances, especially if they forgot to turn off the volume on their PC... (i.e. at work or school) :D

None of my school's comps have speaker's, well the ones the students can use.

As far as website design goes, sounds are generally pretty irritating. A nice background tune can be a good thing, but it's easily overdone.

Instead of website sounds, you guys should be listening to Winamp streams (:

I believe such a feature would cause me to apply a power drill to my eardrums...

Yeah but all it is now is nothing. :( I would at least like to have a background theme. :( I like the idea of having background music or something.

Download a few Wav files and replace them as your default sounds in windows. That's alot easier than everyone else being subjected to extraneous sounds. Personally speaking I wouldn't mind, but 56k users might not like the extra loading time.:)

I was thinking about this a while back. You could capture the menu sound themes from GT3 and use them. The only problem would be that they would be reloading everytime someone loaded a new page. That would cause the members to have strange breaks in the music. Which isn't too unusual - I fly through the menus in GT3 so fast that sometimes the songs only get a few beats out before I've moved on to something else. And you could use the sound effects from the game as 'onclick' actions.

But once again, sounds can be irritating if done inproperly. And as always, everything should be an option to the user (:
