Really? Sueing someone over a fight you started

I've been busted more than once for getting the better of a fight that the other bloke started

That's wrong. As far as I'm concerned, if someone physically attacks you, you keep up your retaliation
until they're incapable of doing you harm

If that means beating them unconcious, so be it

If you're involved in enough fights to be able to make statements like that, there's something seriously wrong with you.

I agree with you to an extent, but only if the person is still actually trying to attack you. If they're collapsed on the floor not doing anything, there's absolutely no reason to continue retaliating. You can keep attacking until they are no longer a threat, at which point any added attacking reflects poorly on you.

In this case, perhaps the cashier could get off for being provoked to a highly emotional level, but it's not a behavior that should be encouraged.

You must have never been in a fight then. As a general rule, violence is justified until the threat against your well-being is no longer there.
"STOP!!! STAAAAAAHP!!! STOP!!!"

As an adult? I can think of two occasions in the 20 years since I left school when I've been involved in anything that could be called a "fight".

Which is my point: normal people don't get into fights. Certainly not regularly enough to have been arrested more than once for it.

deserved what they got. As for carrying on hitting her. She attacked him she should have stayed on the floor, if somone attacks me and I get the better of them, they better lay on the floor and not move a muscle if they want me to stop. I dont stop until they stop. Dont like it, dont attack people.
She should be made to do a public apology.

But since the cashier was an ex-con it makes matters worse as in America, the police think once a criminal, always a criminal.

So, these girls got angry because the cashier was going to scan the note to see if it was legit? They didn't like that? That seems to me like the note was fake. I mean, who attacks someone like that who's just doing their job? Nobody in their right mind would react like that if the note was real.

Which part of the video fooled you into thinking someone was in their right mind?

I have had $50 and $100 bills of mine checked with markers, held up to the light, and fed through quick scanners.

It will be hard to understand, but keep an open mind for a moment olease, while you ponder this... Incredibly, unbelievably, I have never had to sue anyone for beating my azz after a bill has been checked.

To be offended because someone is checking your bills is pretty dumb. They just want to be sure they aren't being given counterfeit money. There's no harm in doing that; no one wants to receive fake money, so it makes perfect sense. If someone turns your bill down because they suspect it's not legit, then that means you should be more careful about the money you receive and complain to whomever gave you said bill instead of the person who you're giving it to.

Some people are ill-minded and don't think that way. Ever.

Honestly if i was working there and someone tried to attack me i would have thrown boiling hot grease in there face I don't care that's self defense

Self defense doesn't work like that. You don't get to use a deadly weapon to defend against a n aggressor that's not using deadly force. Just like you couldn't shoot someone for pushing or punching you, but could if they had a knife or gun.

Boiling grease is way beyond the necessary force and you would hopefully be charged for using it.
