I suggest working with CH's if you do any testing, as its less of a risk.

Bought the Shelby and had a quick lap using CH, that car is slippery... It is fun to get some slip but this is ridiculous

my initial tests on CH's have given me a lap time of around 1:30 ish, but not the cleanest of laps (if I remember correctly).
CM's are quite a bit quicker though, and not too far of CS's in time either!

Let me know any thoughts,

Try both CH's and CM's, as you may find the mediums have to much grip!!!

Is anyone trying these cars with DS3 controller? The only way I can get the car to turn into the corners is by applying handbrake but it also means that I will go drifting through the corners. It is fun, but certainly not easy and not fast

I haven't yet, but *generally speaking* I am fastest with low-grip tires as a pad user. I'll give it a try tonight and see how I get on.

I have really not used the comfort tires at all before this.

I will be using the TVR. It has quickly become one of my favourite cars in the game already

1:32.6 with CH tires. With some more practice (and some luck) I might just get under 1:32... But very fun!

edit: very surprised to find a TVR the best handling car on the list (I tried most of the lighter weight cars from the list). I thought TVR had kind of a reputation being a handful to control...?

^I used the V8S once I think, from what I remember it understeered quite a lot. Checking the list it is the lightest by far so it doesn't come as much surprise to me it handles the best - especially when it's competition is archaic American muscle cars .

I haven't used the Commodore yet, so no idea how that's going to go - it's what I'll be using though because Holden's are cool .

Yep , that right TVR is comfort to control on CH tyres,, have't try any else cars, I will take your recommendation !👍

Very hard but manage to reach 1:30.5 'clean',, and consistent lap of +1 sec I hope!

Ok did some online testing, and feeling that 1:33.500 +/- 1.0 sec is good for a clean lap with CH tyres.

You can very quickly lose time here, especially on the CH tyres so consistantcy and taming eagerness could be key!

I know there have been many issues with online recently, so can understand if people are putting GT6 to one side. But if you intend to be on later give me a nod, like or post to let me know. 👍

Ok guys, post 2 update to cover tonight's race. One point to raise is I will be lowering the PP to 425, once again in an attempt to keep various cars around the same level.

apologies I have not got round to this sooner, but the usual demands of Life tend to take over!

So who can I expect to see online tonight?

This WILL be the last race for a while, in the hope that PD get some more fixes and update out to reinvigorate some life back into the game. Personally I shall still be playing GT6, so i'll be around and trying to think up some new challenges with what we have.
