recently acquired silver chrome....

Any of the 60's LeMans prototype cars would look good. It would be just like polishing their normal aluminum bodies. Sex.

Thanks smuttsy, forgot about that thread. It's still annoying when relatively "normal" cars can't be resprayed though (I pimped a '54 Vette only to find this was the case)

I don't have any qualms about duping paint chips, but I avoid it with cars. I got the Gold Chrome chip "legitimately" this week for the first time, been playing since November and have 1050 cars so you can't blame people for duping them (I traded for both silver and gold some time ago, then duped them but just a few times)

IMHO Audis and Mercs look good in silver, so I used:

SLS AMG
300SL
R8 V10
Nuvolari Quattro
Le Mans Quattro (this looks particularly good)

Gold is a little OTT for me anyway, but I did use it on:

Murci LP-670
Veyron
599

...I guess because i've seen the vids on youtube too :)

It's even more annoying when a car is available in different colours, but you can't spray it yourself, like the Nismo 400R. Sure, that raises its exclusivity, but really annoys me!

To me, the only cars I've found that look good in the gold are the Mini Cooper 1.3i and the Mitsubishi CZ3. Perhaps it's the curvy lines, but I think they hold the colour better than some other cars do. I'm sticking more with the silver for really special favourites and colour shifts on pretty much everything else.

Yup, you completely lose all the carbon fibre, and obviously can't get it back, so if you want to keep the CF finish NEVER paint it!!

I used mine on the Premium SLR

I got a Gold Chrome chip but more sure what to use it on other then some rims.

I have 3 silver chrome cars

Audi TT (new one)
Mercedes SLR McLaren
and just today Subaru 360 :)

Got some great pics of the 360

I used my chrome chip for rims to my Cobra. I think it's a much better to use it for rims than to paint an entire car in chrome.
