I don't think so ... because they added the extra drift trials and lobbies that used to say drift.
I think they are just trying to get all these rookies to try it and get points and feel great about themselves and keep playing.
they need to keep it real like they do the racing aspect of the game... I do a lot of serious racing on gt6 too and its legit for that.

Gt6 is a joke anymore. They had to have known what they were doing would effect the drifting community in a negative way. **** i mean how am i suppose to find a drift lobby? I have to search through all the damn race rooms now? No **** that. That right there is enough to make me give up on gt6.

It a hole different crowd in there.. always AWD cars and they get pissed if you do sections because they don't know what that is. Just hearing the points and seeing it on my screen pisses me off.
GT6 is awesome... I enjoy all aspects of the game. This one just killed it for me.

Ill just put it straight forward. The meeting accomplished nothing. We argued back and forth a little bit about keeping the team open or weather to just close it. It is now no longer just cool to get on and chill due to how boring gt6 has gotten. We drifted around for around 40 mins, had some good tandems, and had a good time.
We came to the conclusion that RSM will be looking for a few more active members to counter weight the lack of active members.
This week has been a disastor for me and the team, but I am sure we will pick things back up in the near future.

To be fair. "Drift" rooms were cancelled because the whole community was supposed to move onto the Drift Trials. We don't need to drift for the points... I mean, they gave us what alot of us wanted. Added Steering lock. If anything in my eyes the Drift Trial lobbies were supposed to tighten up the Drift Community further. But i myself don't use Drift Trial Lobbies, so i know where your coming from. The Physics are weird on DT Lobbies.

Sorry this last 2 weeks I've been completely off. last weekend was the State championships and the week before my PS3 wouldn't recognize my new wifi's IP address. And it still doesnt its frustrating.
