Oil starvation. Spun a bearing. Real cool right? I'm an idiot.
The plan is to part the car out completely, because I'm buying a friend's Camaro.

Good God no I'm not actually parting this car out. Ew Camaros. The ACTUAL plan is... I'm thinking I am going to trade my Eclipse for a friend's Redtop SR20 swap. I'll miss that Eclipse so much. But I really don't need two daily drivers... and I DO need to get the 240 back together because that car is pretty much my whole life. And it's been my dream, ever since I was 13 years old, to own an SR20 powered 240SX... so this is a perfect opportunity for one of my dreams to come true. That would be kinda neat.

I'm looking at a motor tomorrow (wednesday). If I don't do the SR20, I might do a CA18 swap.... but I'd much rather have an SR. NO MORE KA.

It just sucks that it blew so early in the season...

Well this thread was a fun/interesting read. Made me want to go find a (Please dont be offended by my word choice) beater drift missile. Low cost for upkeep and all the fun in the world. Get it running solid, weld the diff, find some ups on ebay and learn to drive it. Once you got the skills go for the nice stuff.(What I would do haha)

Also found it interesting to watch you mature as the pages went by, well done. Other than the boo boo with oil starving the motor and going crazy at an event haha. You live and learn bet you won’t let it happen again though. No one likes learning the hard way but it is quite a effective method.

Keep fighting the good fight bud.

As long as the car you're looking for stays one color, it's good in my book!! Hahaha thanks man!! Didn't think I'd influence anyone lol. Cool though! Now I know to check my oil like... a lot. I checked my oil in the Eclipse twice today D: But I don't want KA24DE-AD to happen again (that's inaccurate because it was just an E but I HAD TO BE FUNNY)
Learning the hard way is the story of my life with this car. Lol. Hopefully soon lame stuff like that stops happening, but at least I'm learning! :D

I went and looked at an SR20 today.

It was still in the car, so the guy let me drive his car and see how I like it.

It was incredible, I need that motor.

What are you planning on racing with? Hopes and dreams?
I'm gonna get my hopes and dreams together and drive to your house and beat you.
Lucky you. Is it stock or had it been modified in anyway?
It was stock but I bought an HKS SSQV, Front mount, Z32 MAF, and if I recall correctly it has rocker arm stoppers. I'm putting it in on Sunday.
