Goto the shop you got your computer. I got my computer reformatted for free by the Technician because I bought the warranty. But they ask you to bring the boot disk, so I guess I'm not sure.

It wipes your hardrive. That only works with non-sytem harddrives or partions. So if you have your OS installed on that HDD, you can't simpy right-click and hit Format.Originally posted by askia47
