Photos or videos are not accepted, but a replay is only requested when you run a top time in your division. Check the FAQ thread in the WRS forum, it should answer most of your questions.

i cant upload videos yet so i am out of it for now

You only have to upload a replay if you finish in the top 2 or 3 of your division. You shouldn't be put off at the thought of possibly providing a replay. I didn't purchase a replay device until 10-15 weeks after I'd started racing in the competition.

Regardless of this, the first step to participating in the WRS is running the qualifier race (found here) and then PM'ing the time you get to Flat-out. He then tells you what division you are in and you are then able to participate in the current week's race which can be found here.

The FAQ (found here) answers all the questions you could have about the WRS. It's great fun and I recommend it to all 👍

Is this right. I run a few laps in the set car message flat-out my split times and lap times and if i'm be low 3rd i don't have to have a replay?

This is most likely a FAQ but where do you find the races and send your times once you've signed up.

From the main forum click on Official GTP Competitions in the On-Line Racing section, then on Weekly Race Series.
Or else click on the link in my sig.

I cannot send a message to flat-out o enter because I says I don't have the appropriate permissions.

Make sure you type in the hyphen between 'flat' and 'out'.
There used to be another account named 'flatout' which has been disactivated and returns a message such as the one you get.

ok I have a question

I got this game about 1 month ago and now completed all the programs in beginner and proffesional series but it wont let me complete the grand turismo one in professional and now I cant go to extreme events.
Is there something else I must do??
it keeps saying I must compelte all beginner and professional events.
All my wins are gold but some I had to go back and do them individually since I screwed up in the tournament.
Maybe thats it because I didnt get the tournament prize money & car???

lol. vipers rnt all tht anyways

no car is all that.... a car is what you make it, whether you have a 1975 toyota corolla or a 2008 bugatti veyron.... its what you do to the car, and the way you drive it. my buddy has a 70's bmw (the little boxy kind) that takes out corvettes like it wasnt trying.

Question, do you just go to a certain page & type your time or is there something else to do?

Sorry but the GT4 WRS is no longer active.

We have moved on to GT5 Prologue.

Here is a link to the Registry and Qualifier.

You know I would totally like to see a casual GT4 WRS come back, but my issue is that I don't have a maxdrive or similar device to transfer replays

boooo! (i only recently picked up a ps2 and no way can i afford a ps3 so i'm a bit behind....)

I'm with this guy.

I just joined the forums in hope to find GT3 or GT4 tournaments, only to find out there aren't any.

Hopefully someone would come up with a tournament, or a weekly race or something. It's kinda boring just racing against time, or AI's.

Check out the "Race Series" section of the GTPlanet forums, you'll find some tournaments currently running there

Thanks! I've also notice the "Spot Races and Lap Time Comparisons" section, and there are some time attacks I'm gonna try out and participate in.

Im sorry, im quite new here. How do i register and submit the times? and by what time of each week do i submit the qualy times?

thanks much.

BTW- this look really fun.
