Qualifying Procedure
-
At Super Speedways, there will be a random draw and groups of 4 will qualify at a time. To speed up the process, there will be no rounds
-At ovals and road courses, there will be group qualifying. Everyone will start at the same time from the pits.

Qualifying for the INBD-Pennzoil 500 will follow suit of 2015-2016 qualifying procedure for this years Daytona 500, with some minor changes.

The entire group of drivers will be split into two groups, Group A and Group B. Group A are the first to Qualify. Group B are second to qualify. In both sessions, the time does not begin until the first driver crosses the start finish line.

-Qualifying will begin with Group A going out for a 5 Minute qualifying run. The Fastest of this group will be on the Front Row for the Great American Race.
-After Group A qualifiers are in the garage, Group B will go out for their 5 minute qualifying session. The fastest of this group will be on the Front Row
-The rest of the field will be set in the Budweiser Duels at Daytona
-Drivers from Group A and Group B who qualify with an Odd number will be in duel number 1
-Drivers from Group A and Group B who qualify with an Even number will be in duel number 2.
-Duel Number 1 will represent the inside row starting line up. Duel Number 2 will represent the outside row starting line up.

Race Procedure
-
The race will begin with a False Start Check Grid
-There will be one formation lap
-The field will double up coming to the green flag
-The leader will have control of the start after the pace car has exited to pit road, or drivers have passed entry to pit road unless said otherwise
-Do not change lanes until across the start finish line

Caution Procedure
-
Single Car spins or damages will not result in a caution unless detrimental to other drivers
-2 or more cars spinning or getting damage will result in a caution or if a car is a hazard to other drivers
-Cars that get damaged will need to Pause and type 'D' as PDI servers are not reliable enough to do so by Mic.
-Once officials confirm a yellow they will announce the caution is out.

-Pits Close immediately following the yellow flag
-When a caution is called drivers are to begin coasting down to pace speed.
-If you are behind the leaders, you will need to catch them at a safe speed and coast down to speed once caught up.
-From the time everyone is caught up to the leaders three to four caution laps will begin.

-Once all drivers are caught up, the Race Director will type or say that pits are open, signifying the beginning of the pit lane procedure.
-On the first lap, pits open for lead lap cars.
-The Lucky Dog may take his wave around
-Lap down cars may take a wave around if all leaders pit
-The second lap, all cars may pit. If the lucky dog chooses to do so he may pit.
-Pits close once the remaining drivers have left
*Restart Procedure*
-
Once lap down drivers and the lucky dog leaves the pits. The pits close
-Drivers will need to catch up to the field at a safe speed and in an orderly manner
-Once all drivers are caught up, depending on track location we will extend the caution by one lap
-Drivers will double up in the last corner coming to the Start/Finish line
-The leader has lane choice and control of the start
-If the leader does not go at the start/finish line, it is fair game for the driver in second position
-The pits open again after the field goes green.

Elimination
The season is comprised of 5 rounds.

If you win a race, you automatically advance to the Eliminator Round. To prevent drivers from skipping most of the season, you need to have an attendance rate of better than 80% to utilize this. If you miss more than two races before the Eliminator Round and have won, you will have to make it in on points.

Normal Protocol is as follows.

-After Round 1. The bottom 2 drivers will be eliminated from the Chase leaving 14 drivers.

-After Round 2. The bottom 4 drivers will be eliminated from the Chase leaving 10 drivers.

-After Round 3. The bottom 2 drivers will be eliminated from the Chase leaving 8 drivers.

-In Round 4. The bottom 4 drivers will be eliminated from the Chase leaving 4 drivers.
-For the Final 4, points will be matched to that of the leader.

Past Series
Welcome to The Pennzoil High Performance Championship otherwise known as the PHPC!
This series is all about Driver Ability and Skills on a given track.
In this series space is limited to 12 cars on track. That however does not limit the number of drivers there can be in the series. This keeps space limited in rooms, and opens up a door to a refreshing new intensity in the series.

There are Six cars, whichever car you choose the other drivers with the same car will be your teammates but will also your competitors.

All Drivers will need to put their info in the thread.

Less than Optimal Field

All rules remain the same, but In the case that we have a less than optimal field to race, 7 or under, the race will be cut in half with a mandatory caution at the half way mark to bring the field together.
(Full Caution) At the moment a caution is called PITS CLOSE. Leaders then coast to pace speed. Once all cars are caught up, pits will then open for all cars. If lap down cars don't pit after the first lap then they may claim there wave around. Cars that received a wave around may pit as the field is going green. If a car has severe damage, two or more wheels or engine, you must pit.

Since weather will be variable at the tracks where possible, if there are any sudden down pours a caution will be thrown, drivers will slow to the pace speed given by the race director, then drivers will be escorted, or escort themselves to the pits. After all drivers have made their necessary changes, we will return to green the following lap. After this point it is up to the driver to be watching for the rain to subside, it will be up to you from then on.

In the event of prolonged rain showers resulting in 100% track humidity, reduced visibility and grip for a given amount of time, a red flag will be thrown for the safety of the drivers.

(Quick Caution) At moment of caution called Pits Close and leaders coast to pace speed. Once all cars are caught up pit will then open for All Cars. There will be no wave around. This will be used to save time and use less laps under caution at the end of a race.

(Section Caution) If a car, or multiple cars go off in a sector, a sector yellow will be called. When this happens, drivers will need to take caution going through this sector, as there is a car that is off track slow, or damaged. If needed, the turn will be named in which the accident is taking place. If another driver causes a collision in a sector with the driver, who the sector caution was called for, a penalty will be assessed.

Certain Events will have to take place for a caution flag to be displayed.

A caution where cars crash independently, be it only one going off, or be it one going off and another following. Will not result in a caution.
  1. Single car crashes will not be grounds for a caution unless a danger to the field.
  2. Collision resulting in 3 or more cars damaged,(Will be reviewed)
  3. Collision Resulting in 2 or more cars spinning,(Will be reviewed)
  4. 7 or more in a crash will result in a red flag

Hey Brown. Thank you for tagging me as a recommended driver, but with real life things and my commitments in the GTPlanet Endurance Series I'm afraid I won't be able to commit to your championship series. Best of luck with this and have fun most of all!

Hey guys, Updated the OP even more than what I have been. The biggest additions are redefined layouts in the PHPS. Also, I took away the touring car series, it may return at a later date, its just something I'm not passionate about. Tweaked the FGT to match a half season of F1, and added a new broad NASCAR Series Spoiler. Go check it out. Some great new amazing things will be coming to the Pennzoil Championship Series soon. Hopefully

I hope to see you all around.
