I doubt the Porsche expansion (if it does exist) that it'll be only 18 cars (weird number to have an expansion on) so hopefully we'll get two more models for Porsche.

I wonder how much of this stuff will actually make it in, and what more cars they have for DLC that we don't already know about!

So...

Assuming all upcoming car packs will feature 7 cars and a barnfind, and what's been leaked actually makes it to the game, the simple math equals to 5 more car packs, not counting the Porsches, which will most likely get their own expansion. That gets us all the way to May in the current schedule/format with the current leak.

Seeing how FM6 had DLC all the way to September, mere weeks before FH3 came out, it's entirely possible we get FH3 DLCs all the way to August or September if FM7 comes out in October (as it should), meaning another 24 or 32 other cars (if they stay with the 7 cars + barnfind with every DLC) aside those ones.

I don't think all of these will make the cut for DLC, some may be just leftovers from developing the game, like the miatas and the audis could just have been copied from FH2 or FM6 code, but never been removed.

Other stuff can be forzathon and barn finds prizes, like the Juke, SLR and the Plymouth - essentially anything that was in a current gen forza. I find hard to believe they'll bring cars from older XB1 games as paid DLC, specially after the whole FM6 schedule of all new cars, and the current FH3 following the same format.

One thing I'm curious about regarding the leaked Developer Build:

  • Is there anything that can show how tuning affects physics/handling, the various effects that tuning parameters have on grip etc.?
I'm wondering if there is a theoretical "best value range" for each tuning parameter or anything else regarding the game physics that could influence how people make tuning setups.

Also, I wonder if this unencrypted build of the game allows for car models to be exported. I personally have no interest in modding but I wouldn't be surprised if somebody tried to port some of these cars into RFactor, Assetto Corsa or some other PC racing sim.

You'e absolutely right. Since FM6 its all been either X360 gen or completely new to Forza stuff in paid dlc. I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Playground Games & T10 right now...

I do believe the one developer who would up creating this mass car leak craze is receiving this sort of polite message;
giphy.gif

I also suspect T10 and Playground are cursing Microsoft's plans to port Forza games to the PC, given that's where this entire story began... Talk about a baptism by fire.

On the other hand, this might only spur more people to go for the Car Pass instead of waiting and seeing if their favorite car(s) will show up in future packs. Anything that's Australian is bound to either be a Barn Find or a paid DLC car. The Valiant Charger being in is now a full given, which will certainly please Aussie Mopar fans. It may be the only Aussie Chrysler in, but it's the one Aussie Chrysler, and that's what matters...
Another mystery I do want to see solved is the "Bellissima" Lamborghini. Having a codename for a model name means it's something not seen yet in any videogame, and it'll definitely attract attention.

Also, am I the only person who is disappointed by the fact that the Vega is not the Cosworth version Vega? I sense that was a missed opportunity...

Bellissima is the Centinerio.

Bellissima is the Centinerio.

It's actually "Centenario", but what makes you say that? I remember someone else here implying that the lack of a Centenario name in the game's files means the Bellissima is the Centenario, but I'm still having second doubts about that...

Yeah, it's not a car I particularly care about, so I don't pay attention to how the name is actually spelled too much. You got the jist of it though.

Alright, this deserves a bit of clarity. The Centenario doesn’t show up, the Bellissima does. While the 2017 caught me off-guard, I’m pretty sure the Bellissima is the Centenario because the car hadn’t been revealed while the game was in development. This kind of thing is far from uncommon. I wouldn’t have arrived to that conclusion if it hadn’t been for another car on that list: The Ford “Phoenix”. That’s the 2017 Ford GT, which was carryover from Forza Motorsport 6 which was, just like FH3, in development alongside the car. In FH3, some cars are duplicated as HE’s, Horizon Edition vehicles with special stat boosts. The ‘17 Ford GT in-game has a Horizon Edition, and the duplicate Phoenix folders line up with this. Everything lines up too well with the Bellissima/Centenario thing to not be coincidental.

Well that was not actually the quote I was referring to, but it serves as an answer, certainly. Shame it is not a true new Lamborghini that we have not gotten yet, but you never know with these games. But thanks for clarifying, much appreciated. 👍

Also, why does the Centenario not have a HE model? You'd think the cover car would have one of those...

I just saw this and considered it myself despite already having the VIP pass and the game. It's worth it just for the car pass and the Motorsports All Stars Pack at that price!
I was going to sell my hard copy on eBay for £20~ and then pick it up.

Ridiculous value for what the content is priced at separate!

Sadly my copy is already digital and I imagine it comes as 1 code to cover all of the included parts so I wouldn't be able to sell on my VIP pass or the game :(

A couple of years ago, I put together a fantasy DLC pack in some thread (can't remember which one now) which was nothing but Australian cars. There were so many awesome Australia-only cars. I wanted to know more about them and have the chance to drive them in some game. I was hoping for a DLC. Instead, we have an entire game dedicated to Australia and the great cars built there. True, we aren't going to get every car everyone would have wanted, and only one Chrysler is disappointing, but as someone else said, if we only get one Chrysler, at least it's the Chrysler to have. So yeah, I'm blown away. I am completely satisfied and we still have about 8 more months of DLC to go.

And hopefully some Group C beasts like the XE, VH and the P910 Bluebird Turbo.
I got confused when I read that, I thought you meant Group C prototypes until I googled P910 Bluebird. :embarrassed:

A little help please.

I'm trying to get that 20,000xp Board that is on top of the Rock at Byron Bay Beach.

I've been using the Radical as it's got the speed and I try to get a good clear run, it looks good but the damn thing always gets caught out by the bumps just at the end ruining it.

Just wondering what Car you would recommend using to get this?

Cheers

This is a blessing and a curse for T10. It prepares people to see what cars are(may be) coming to F7. There may be people on the fence about holding off FH3 to get F7.

The games are different, but shelling out for similar DLC each hame, is kind of the running joke. The games are like Hot Wheels tracks or Lego cities. Thing is, the cars are not transferrable. In order to play on a race track, I have to buy F6. If I want to cruise around I have to buy FH3. I can't use the Altima Supercar in FH3, for example. Yet, the Ford & Holden Supercars are in.

Remember GT4(credits) and GT5/GTPSP(standard cars) could do this. I used the feature and it was actually clevee.PD were on to it like taking your Hot Wheels in your travel case.

T10 could offer us both city driving & circuit racing( packages on one or two discs), but there's no money in that(today).
