Remote race, frozen/locked out

I checked the FAQ but didn't see anything listed.

I was running a remote race on my PS3 when the race ended, but the screen went blank before going back to the main screen, so I quit the game. When I go back into Community - Remote Race, nothing happens. The game freezes.

When I log on to gran-turismo.com and check my remote race status, it shows "Currently taking part in Remote Race..." When I check on the race status, it shows that the race is still going and every time I go back to check on it, it reverts back to the time of 18:13, so it's stuck in a loop.

Is there any way to force/cancel the race?

Your PS3 will have lost contact with PSN. It'll need to be logged back in before you will be freed up to do more races.

I logged out, shut down the PS3 and rebooted, logged back in but still can't get back into the Remote Race menu.

Once I logged out from gran-turismo.com, also, things are working normal again. Problem solved!

Same thing happened to me twice on Friday. The game lost its connection to the GT5 game server, but not PSN. After rebooting the PS3 and logging out of gran-turismo.com, seems to be working fine now though.

The last two races I've run have been a waste of time because I get a message, "event not found."
