Remote Race Update!!

Yep thats the problem there with a Xp grid having to cash in to confirm the values after each race. A second PS3 in the same house would make it easy.
But swapping from profiles on the same PS3 is to boring.

And way too time-consuming. Trying to determine the actual XP values for each of the spots in each of these races is a little too much, I think. Unless, of course, it's a shared community effort. Estimates is all I'm willing to do, and so far, these do look good. I've personally checked four random spots, based on how I finished in a full grid, and three of them were exact, and one was off by 10. Though if you're 10 off towards the bottom, it can compound up the top. The CT230R race probably gives 9040 for 16th, and the multiplier for 11th might be a tad low, but the confirmation really has to be a community effort now. I'm done!

It has chucked out some strange Xp figures would not have expected winning in a Honda NSX road car would give the same Xp as winning in a Honda Raybrig NSX race car but it does.

Did you confirm this (and confirm these both give 73,030 for winning), or are you just wondering? If the latter, I'm wondering whether instead of doing NSX and Honda NSX I've done one of the races twice, and missed the other?

Ive won both since you posted the table, the correct figure for first is 72900 Xp and no matter which event you drive the NSXs its the same prize..
Ive also noticed that in the Audi TT event there is always a smash up on the first lap. As 2 cars will try to go side by side in to the chicane and only one makes it , ether that or driver on my friends list are crap..

Cheers! 16th is probably 7290 then. I can update the base values for 16th if I get them and see what that does to the table. I've got it all in an open office spreadsheet, so all I really need to do is plug in the new base values, and set the base multiplier to 1, and it'll update all the values. Maybe I should make a note as to which values are actually confirmed?

Hi every1 1st off I'd like to thank all those who went to the trouble of figuring out all the xp & payouts. But I have a question & if any1 knows the answear it would be great.
I like most of you ran the widget, but I ran a preference value that a friend of mine gave me that went like this.

preferences.preferredRace.value = 5569

As most I'm sure did, that was for La Sarthe. Now is there a new preference for the widget or is it useless now ?? I'm not sure how to run the remote races w/out it since the widget would just repeat. Is there any way to get the remote races to just repeat w/out using the widget???

Thanks for anyone's help.....

Alfa event pays the best money and experience points average.
or is it useless now ??
Not useless. First post has event codes.

Thanks for anyone's help.....[/COLOR][/I]
If you want more EXP run CT230R '08 event.
If you want more Credits Run Indy event.

I ran the cape ring race maybe 30 times since it came out,but I've ran the Indy event hundreds of times,it's pretty short and I usually finish in the top 10. When I don't get stuck in the lame chapparel :P

Doesnt the payouts rely on what car your on rather than what position you finish? because on a fair few occasions ive finished 1st,2nd or 3rd in one of the quicker cars in the race, yet come 4th-16th in the slower cars and got a bigger payout.

NO. It the Car class events that decide the pay out and they ARE fixed. not the individual car.
Experence grid is only guessed using simple formula so far..

B spec driver level.
Starting position.
Type of car.
Number of over takes.

Makes no difference to the payout for first in a 16 car grid..

Finish the Lemans car event in first on the oval at indy, be it in a 88C ,R92NP or Saubar C9 you get the same fixed amount.

The only thing that alter prize fund is Car event class (you now have 11) and number of cars on the grid, 2-16.
( Thats why theres the Last coloum on the Prize grid.
Race time would alter prize fund but PD have removed that variable.
Prize grid is calculated buy running 16 drivers but noting there current earnings before the race.
Then running a single 16 car grid race on a Car class event. Then deducting the new figures after the race for the old ones giving the prize total per position..
