REQ: Option to have same playlists used across menu and racing

It's really annoying hearing the first 20 seconds of songs and having them constantly cut in/out. I'd much prefer just a constant flowing playlist throughout the game. As it stands now, if I want that I have to turn off all music in the game and stream music from my computer while leaving sound effects on in-game.

I agree! Get rid of all that Personal BGM stuff and allow us to turn off all in-game music (but still play sounds). I'd rather play my own music all the time either from XMB or outside the PS3.

Nothing has bugged me more recently is when I finish a race halfway through a great track.

Also getting the right volume of game sounds mixed with the music volume can be a pain in the backside.

Both true. At equal volume settings, sound effects thoroughly overpower the music. I find that I have to use Sound 50 Music 100 to balance it.
