Ahem. I do believe he was referring to a culture outside of yours.. one where people who can't actually tune worth a damn use GTR's and the likeness thereof. In you actually happen to fall into that category, well I certainly hope you don't is all.

I think quite the opposite actually. I came here to seek wisdom in something that takes a great amount of understanding pertaining to this aspect of the game. GT-R's are among the most overused drag car (through my experience, mind you) in the rooms I enter, and it's never been by anyone on any of the respected lists I see floating around here.
I'm even willing to bet that you, yourself doesn't go running around drag lobbies spanking no0bs in your GT-R, do you?
I respect the tune. I respect the drag. I was hoping I could respect this forum.
No, I agree that most people who can't tune end up using GT-r's and ACR's.

Why would they pick those cars? Unless they are racing them against cars that are not as fast they still will lose if they can't tune, NO car is "easy" to make competitive at the highest level. I personally like my ACR
The GTR on the other-hand I would like to strap c4 to and make it go away.
I still don't get where you guys are getting this. the GTR is a very overused car yes, but it is just like any other, being that if you don't know how to tune it will still not be competitive.
Also what does being American have to do with it? I'm sure you would not like for me to single out things about being Scottish.

Going by his avatar I dont suspect cphbullet has much sensitivity for other ethnic groups
Apart from rivalry (evident in all forums), the main flashpoint here seems to be from people posting requests for tunes. Not only do they completely disregard the stickies and fail to use the search option they get mad when people dont offer up a top tune and/or make a joke about their request.
Try posting about losing your game save over in the marketplace and see how friendly the response is from the likes of cphbullet.
