Results day 2012.

Today is that horrid day 6th form students get their results back. And im not sure but the year 11 ones are soon?

How did people do? Are you happy with them or gutted? I get mine on Saturday because I am on holiday but im interested to hear how people did

I get mine on the 23rd, I've got Geography and Maths to pass.

I also get mine on the 23rd for English, Graphics, Geography and RE (catholic school). I'm quite confident I did well in the last 2 but my real worry is English where I wrote about half as much as everyone else in the exam.

Got a D in Physics. It wasn't the C that the University of Chichester wanted but they let me in anyway!

AS results for myself:
Physics - E (very surprised I passed this, the teaching quality was awful)
Economics - C
Chemistry - C (1 mark off B)
Biology - C (1 mark off B)
Psychology - B

Not too bad, but I could have done better.

They are talking about A-Levels exam results, final exams for their school. This reminds me of waiting for my grades a few years back, but I was in IB, that evil evil system

Relieved to get the results I needed to get into Loughborough Uni to do Electrical&Electronic Engineering.

Physics
Unit 1: A
Unit 2: C
Unit 3: B

Chemistry
Unit 1: C
Unit 2: B
Unit 3: A

Not bad, but anything below B needs to get a look over, especially with that M2 paper.

Now onto the A2, lot to reconsider especially since it is my last year at school...

Not really what I was hoping for, knew history was a certain A, but getting into Physics at Uni with those grades is gonna be hard work

I have 2 years until I do the Irish equivalent of the A levels. But the prep starts this September.

The annoying thing about this is I am not at home and could not pick up my results so I don't know what I got yet.

Hmmm not pretty readings for me. Dd in business a c in sociology which was my weakest subject and an E! In geography, my strongest.

Although business and geography was down to teaching. Still, not going next year. Oh well.
