Awesome tutorial 👍
didn't know you also use lines to identify the center point
it saves lots of time guessing
I guess many people will find this technique extremely useful
Okay, now to my next update! For this one I'm using a Volkswagen New Beetle Cup Car. Thats right, the one with the racing livery. The ugly racing livery, which I don't really like... so I got rid of it! I spent quite a long time cleaning this and redrawing the panel gaps, to make it look perfect. Included is also a funky pink tint, and also a mature tones version. Enjoy, and as always feedback is encouraged and appreciated.
magnificent. its getting saved to my hard drive as soon as i get home from class. i like the mature one the best. the car stands out in a drab environment slightly more than in an environment thats just as vived as the car itself. quite an awesome feat. i say that was time well spent 👍
It is very smooth.
I was looking at that and I didn't remember seeing a yellow RSi, then I actually read what you wrote.
Looks great, Rev, if a bit fake. My favorite is the mature one.
TVR&Ferrari_Fan - Hmm, maybe, I haven't really thought about a PDF version. So the answer is a definite Maybe RcWr - Thank you. I quite like them too! Fyffe - Thanks, Fyffe! I was going for an uberly smooth yet cool look with the Beetle. lmracer - Thanks mate, I'm glad you like it. I certainly hope it was time well spent because I spent an awful lot of time on it! franz - Thank you Next time I play GT4 I'll take some comparo photos for you PLmatt91 - Oh well, you can't please'em all. Vonie - Yeah, I suppose it is a bit fake, but I like the cartoony look it has to it, especially in the hot pink tint version.
Tutorial is 'the wicked' but I am having a hard time making it work with my limited PS skills. Specifically the part about using the pen tool. My pen tool seems to do different things... More practice is needed.
Thanks everybody speedy_samurai - Hmmm, pen tool can be a bit tricky to get the hang of, but I hoe this can help you. BTW, are you using Paint Shop Pro or Adobe Photoshop? Because as far as I know the pen tool step can't be applied to photoshop. Anyways, if you are using PSP, have a quick look at this screenie...
i noticed on your windows manager bar in the screen you took that you use limewire. is that a good p2p file exchange program? it doesnt load your pc with spyware and spam does it?
I know 440 may have said this about my PGR3 work, but anyway I reckon the rims and the rear lights look a bit toony. Aswell as the spoiler, but I would have to say that is your type of style Revolution.
lmracer - Yes, I do use Limewire. To be honest though, I don't use it all that much, but like all internet based things, you should always have good virus protection software and Spyware Blockers active. Even so, I haven't found anything wrong with the content I've downloaded, and I'd recommend the program. But also keep the antivirus and spyware stuff in mind as well. TVR&Ferrari_Fan - Thanks. I guess it is my style!
Thanks again to everybody
@Sejtur - Hehe, thanks. Is PSPX any good? I heard its not as good as 9 because X is Corel franchise rather than Jasc, who did the previous ones.
Oh, btw I'll have something new coming for you all soon, I hope you like the sound of a red RX-8 at Chamonix!
Yeah, I know I said I'd do a red RX-8 at Chamonix, but the pics didn't quite come out how I was hoping, so consider that update postponed until I am happy with it. Anyways, here's a quicky update for the Le Mans comp, of a Toyota GT-One at Le Sarthe. Something a bit different from the norm, and I hope you all like it.
