Revolution Studios :: Merc SL65 Part Two!

It's a very nice shot Rev, looks realistic, and natural (something I haven't done in a while, all my shots have some sort of tint to them). I'm a bit surprised you left the nameplate on there, and there's something very odd going on in the sky on the left side. That's my picked nits, though; I love how well done the road is blurred, and particularly the barrier. So smooth, it looks like that's exactly how it was meant to be 👍

Love the camera angle Rev 👍
the blur part is nice and we know you are very good at this
but I guess you can use more blur and noise on the road
meanwhile you can use less noise on the sky
sorry for being picky ;) however you did a great job on your shot

Awesome, I love it! 👍 Fantastic angle and the lighting is superb! I like the car too, it looks nice and solid, and very detailed! Great stuff, keep 'em coming! :dopey:

ps. Thanks for the request, I can't wait for the 2nd part! :D

Heh, thanks everybody.
Slip - I would have changes the plate, but I couldn't find a Mercedes Benz font to redo it with!
franz - I thought I may have put a bit too much noise on the road. I've been doing fairly big blur shots recently, so I wanted to do something a tad more realistic than my usual style.
magburner - Thanks. Part II will be up once I photoshop a couple more pics from that set.
Everyone else! - Thanks! :dopey:

Great speedy shot!. I took a look to your index at first post, and I'm loving your style. All banner are very identificative for each car and kind of session, and I like how you used black&color and proportions.

Just discovering your great work :)

The other part of the SL65 update will be up soon, I promise. :)
And there are more to this set too, they'll probably go up at the same time.
Oh, and I've got a new image sig style. :P
Enjoy, feedback welcome + appreciated.

Vectorize is the way of clean up perfectly
Very detail and clean like everyone said
fantastic job mate

Thanks everybody.
440 - Its mostly smudge brush and motion blurring to clean up textures, but some airbrushing was involved on the bonnet.
alexwrc - Yup, vectored bodylines as well.
franz - You're not wrong, vectorizing make the lines look so smooth and nice.
I'll finish photoshopping up some other shots from this set now.

S2000 part two soon.

Ah, 'tis a secret! j/k.
Mostly smudge brush and motion blur. Selection tool for making sure I stay inside the lines :P And the pen tool for redrawing panel gaps.
Thanks for the comment. :)
Edit: Oh and a radial blur for those wheels.
