OMG, I'm loving it!

Will the chassy flex be implemented (or is it already?). guybo, I hope to make one of the races soon...I hope!

I really like it also. I've been throwing the gt3 Camaro in the mix also and it makes for some very good racing. To be honest its the only cars that keep me coming back to Rfactor2. Everything else to me is just mediocre to me.

Hum. I had not thought of adding the Camaro into the mix.

There are other good mods, more will come once rF2 is further along.

United Racing Design has a pack of good GT cars, it's pay. But they do have a 'Vette to try before you buy.

No plans for chassis flex. I'd love to see it too.

We're working on a new concept for our multiclass season 2 next Fall. We are taking 3 different Proto mods and we will strip them down to chassis, engine and tires. We're going to add high and low downforce aero packages to the chassis. We are going to balance and homologate the the engines and tires. We will use a standard gear set. Each team gets to pick 1 chassis of the 3. I have a plan for the order they will use to pick. Then the teams get to choose whichever tires and engine works best for their car and those will be the P1 cars for our season. Each team will have 2 or 3 cars and each car will be unique to the teams. then of course the GT teams will use that mod above. There will be privateers and teams.

This Summer we're going to run Indycars as a fun series then in September will come the preseason testing for the season and BOP adjustments for the protos. rF2 cars are very modular so this concept won't be that hard to do.

Image Space Incorporated has released yesterday the 2014 Formula Renault 3.5 for rFactor 2. In the video you can see three onboard laps more the replay of the last lap at Autodromo di Mores.

Great news! Hopefully Indy is right behind it along with an update.👍

Wheatley said that the Indy content will be this weekend, maybe even on Sunday. I was really hoping it'd be out today.

The day is young, may still happen.

guybo, did you try the Formula Renault 2014 yet? No matter which down-force package I chose I seem to get the same wing. Also, the rear flap doesn't seem to activate, at least visually.

No, I have not

Comparison of New iRacing Dallara DW12 and rFactor2 the American circuit in Indianapolis Road Course, the comparison shows the difference in graphics and sounds between the two games, I hope you like it.

a greeting

What it does not show is that the rF2 mod comes with 4 configurations. I don't know if the iRacing mod has both Chevy and Honda engines or if it has the Reds and Black tires.

go to minute 3:40 the video above misses this gem as well- the floating tires

I just bought the Endurance X mod and wow is it great. I think I can uninstall everything else now with exception to their DTM mod, BES mod, and also a Ferrari challenge mod I downloaded a few days ago. Those 4 mods have made me stop playing AC and really give RF2 a legit shot at being my #1 go to. Now to find a US friendly league to race in (any suggestions?)

RF2 can really shine when using the right cars. Only thing is the official content doesn't feel that great to me.

Jersey

Champion Motorsport (http://cmsracing.com/champion/forums/content/) is starting to use the Endurance X mod for some of its races. In fact there will be a 2.4 Hours of Le Mans at the end of the month. CMS is friendly and laid back, but very strict and do a great job at organizing races/leagues and officiating.

rF2 is in development, ISI tends to release content for modders to build upon. With every build new content arrives, older content improves.

Jersey, every other Sunday afternoon my league races the BES mod, check us out www.BESforRF2.com

Also, Sunday night USF1 races URD & prototypes http://www.usf1racing.com/phpBB3/index.php

Like Voltaic mentioned, CMS races rF2 as well.

I checked into CMS and they race when i'm at work. I work T-S and they race on saturdays in the afternoon. I'll have to check out your league on Sundays. Seems like most leagues i found i'd wanna race in were euro friendly times. I appreciate the help though guys.

rF2 going 64bit next week(maybe)!

http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.php/20167-rFactor-2-Memory-Usage-Upgrades-In-Upcoming-Build

http://www.virtualr.net/rfactor-2-going-64bit

"We’ve been hard at work recently on the overall experience rFactor 2 provides. Key to this; decreasing the chances of users running out of system memory, and increasing code efficiency with more range for CPU instructions, improving overall performance.

What uses system memory, and why? Well, system memory (RAM) has much faster access times than a hard drive or swap file. Games use RAM to read, write and temporarily store items for quicker access than other storage methods.

For something like rFactor 2, this means every car, race track, car livery, track building, texture of grass, asphalt, concrete – everything you see in the simulation – takes up RAM. The more cars you add (be they A.I. or in multiplayer), the larger the track, or the more detail you have to load, the more RAM is filled.

With a 32-bit environment, it is only possible to allocate to 4GB of RAM. These days, with increased texture sizes, more accurate 3D models – like we have been producing since our first release of Silverstone Circuit – 4GB is becoming a lower ceiling.

A 64-bit environment is a fantastic thing, it can theoretically handle 17.2 billion GB of RAM. By going 64-bit, you effectively take the ceiling off. Systems with 8GB, 16GB or more can take advantage by running on larger tracks, with higher texture levels and more cars.

We highly recommend that upon release, those with suitable systems try our new 64bit executables. However, what about those of you who can’t? Good news! We have also made memory usage gains in 32-bit during this process. Not only will those using our new 64-bit executables gain from this work, 32-bit users will as well, although it is important to remember that in 32-bit, a 4GB limit will always hang over you if you run high texture levels, or many opponent cars. However, going forward, effective use of the swap file beyond the RAM limit may allow you to bypass halted execution at the expense of performance.
