i hate rice. i can't stand slow cars with crazy light bodykits and wings. then the owners of these cars are just as dumb as their cars look. they try to make there cars look like racecars but it just look terriable.

What about ricers that look stock, seem stock and smell stock, but then burn the crap outta you because they are not stock, say 200hp more then stock ???
Hate is an awful word to use. I understand the crowd you are talking about, but there are those out there that are not "Ricer" if you know what I mean.

They are all japanesse cars that run on the same engines, looks can always be deceiving, but that goes in anything in life. I understand the whole all show, no go thing. A ricer can be any japanesse car that runs on 4 cyclinders or rotors in my personal opinion, you don't need it to look like one, you just gotta look at who's in it.

I only hate cars if they are made to look fast and then the driver tries to intimidate people. Other than that, If they are only trying to make it look nice, I dont mind

A guy who calls himself a 'wanna b drifter' is complaining about people who make their cars look fast? Id rather have some kid in a 140hp civic with a body kit and wing and stickers, and stuff on it than some idiot in any car trying to drift around a corner.

haha, well, no offense, but he is right. and about the rice, I think that the problem is the car. I mean... you dont give a **** about the dude, you just pity him. but, oh, poor car!! look @ you!! what have they done?? look at those neon lites glowing under/in/out/everywhere in you!! look at that STUPID sound sistem!! look at those 456 inch wheels!!! look at that body kit that screams "im oh-so-ugly" and that puke splat graphics on a just as stupid paint... oh, and of course, the stickers of brands the car doesnt have!!! omg, the wing!!! the dude receives directv for free... and yeah, tha can of milk in the back, and all that stuff. well, they may have power, thay may have thousands of dollars on tem... but, damn, really, if I see one of those in the street, I will laugh, and hard. and if he sees me, better!! that way I can shake my head, laugh @ther car in their faces and walk away

I only think it is annoying is all. Usually it is bad enough to have to look at these pimpped out cars but then the driver's 9 times out of 10 try and show off and hell they can drive anyways, their cars are about as quick as a pacer and handle about the same considering they are lowered so much that the suspension angles are messed up.

i have a integra gsr it has bady kits,and neon lites but im also pushin out 316 hp(turbo) yeah its a waste of money i could have gotten a cammaro z28 and saved thousands but thats not the reason i got it the reason i got it is cause i like it is my choice of what i want to do to it and yeah its annoying to see them on the street and the drivers thinksthat a type-R sticker is goin to help them go faster(beleive me i have had challenges of of those types) i am only 16 so to me its cool im into the scene i love the croud and the response my cars gets so heres what i think about ricers...
hate:they think that nos is the best(stupid fast and the furious) and they think a civic with intake and headers can beat a mustang or camaro etc...
like:the culture its the way racers get together and chek out cars and race each other and last but not least the cash and girls

I know a few people at my car club with a few Mustangs, Camaro's, and an unsuspecting Audi that can turn some heads. Their only mission is to humiliate wannabe's. The cars look almost stock but run really fast (mid 7's to high 8's). They put just the right amount of body work to attract wannabe's 
. Ive seen them at the strip when we went a few weeks ago. They are really good and fun to hang around with. One is an engineer at GM I think (at least I heard, never got to ask him)...

If its done right it can be ok.just stop puting those freaking huge wings one stocked out little civics.I don't realy mind bodykits as long as the colors match and rims can make or break at cars looks. I,m just so sick of seeing big azz rims on little cars, or 5000$ rims on 500$ cars.

anyone trying to intimidate people on the street whether their car is rice or not is lame. thats why i like sleepers so much, you can be discrete with them, not attracting attention, yet your car is modified so it can push and handle like a dream.
if someone wants their car to 'look' nice then fair enough, i'd rather see something interesting on the road than (yet another) boring FF car

If for example I put 17 inch wheels and a nice bodykit on a 1.5l slow-ass civic just because I want it to look better than other slow-ass civics... so I'm a rice-boy?
IMHO if car is slow it ISN'T dumb to make it look at least better than stock. I hate overdone cars though. Must have some limits.. If car is fast from factory i think it IS dumb to put smth that will kill the performance...e.g. big heavy wheels, big heavy bodykit and so on....And I consider this as rice...

i think we need a huge catalogue, like u get for antiques where a car is labelled as rice or not, then when u see a car u just consult the catalogue and make a decision

If your just wanting to make the car look better your not a rice boy. Its been clearly explained before. A Rice Boy is a person with a car that only looks fast and they try to intimidate actually fast cars...

ricers think that a huge exhust tip lame-ass cold, air intake, cut springs, and a ugly heavy body kit on there cars and think its a 13 sec. because it looks like a car out of F&F
