Tuning Parts Installed :
Racing Exhaust
Suspension Fully Customizable Kit
Adjustable LSD
Racing Brakes Kit

AERO :
Downforce Front / Rear : 350 / 730 ( STOCK - please adjust according to track ) - try to maintain 250-500 gap value between front and rear or adjust to suit your style ( less gap will make the car looser in high speed + slight top speed increase less rear used )

LSD - 2 way high preload - improved
Initial Torque : 30
Acceleration Sensitivity: 22
Braking Sensitivity: 46
Higher braking to reduce rear chatter when coasting and trail braking, reduced acceleration to reduce understeer and sudden changes in traction when under extreme load, initial torque optimized for balance between stability and response.

Suspension - improved
Front, Rear

Ride Height: 75 85
Spring Rate: 14.45 20.50 ( medium setup )
Dampers (Compression): 5 4
Dampers (Extension): 4 10
Anti-Roll Bars: 6 3
Camber Angle: 0.2 0.0 ( alters the balance of grip between front and rear - higher camber up front reduce the front sensitivity to steering to make it less twitchy ) I recommend between 0.2 to 1.2 - adjust to style and track.
Toe Angle: -0.10 0.10 - increase rear toe in if want more stability, I recommended no more than 0.24

For Spring Rate F/R- alternative soft setup : 11.24 / 15.97 or hard setup : 17.94 / 25.47 or super hard : 19.64 / 27.88 -TESTED

Transmission

Stock gearing, only alter final to suit track.

Brake Balance
9/5 ( personal BB) or for ABS 0 wheel : 3/2, for ABS 1 - feel free to use your preferred brake balance.

Recommended setting for DS3 user :

Steering sensitivity at +1 or +2, all aids off, except ABS 1 ( if not comfortable with ABS 0 ) with 5/4 brake balance as starting point.

Brands Hatch Grand Prix Circuit_35.jpg
Notes :
This tune is made to help drivers tame the car, as the stock base setup is not very friendly and has too much front grip bias.

The camber quirk of zero value giving more instantaneous grip is used to alter the balance of the car when coasting and in mid corner to exit ( sustained grip during cornering seems to be fine and works as it should with camber changes ).
Brake balance set to rear bias helped the car under braking instability, the 2 way LSD also helped giving better traction both on and off throttle. All it takes some minor adjustment and the car becomes much better to drive, stable, and quick.

Tuned and tested at Brands Hatch GP, Bathurst, Silverstone Stowe, Apricot Hill, Nordschleife and Silverstone Full Track.

The R8 LMS Ultra Team Phoenix ver 1.03 able to lap Brands Hatch GP at 1:23s easily ( PB 1:22.2xx stock gearing, stock aero with the above tune ) and Mt Panorama Bathurst at consistent 2:05s ( PB 2:04s ) using stock aero + gearing - same tune above ( LSD and suspension ). All on Racing Hard, stock power no oil change.

The tune has also been tested with max power setup at over 900HP, works great, adjust gearing, aero and spring rate according to the track, enjoy

A video of the car when tested during tuning session ( 2:07 at Mt Panorama ) ver. 1.02 tune :

UPDATE : Suspension has been revised, better stability and more responsive steering :)

UPDATE ver 1.03 : Suspension and LSD has been overhauled, now it's several seconds faster around Brand Hatch GP and Bathurst on 599PP. Stability improved mid corner and exit, entry also improved a bit. Understeer has also been reduced.

NEW UPDATE 1.04 : Improved front damper setup to allow better weight transfer and better compliance on bumpy track.

Added Note for top speed run ride height and spring rate :

Hey Ridox have you noticed the R8 LMS Ultra having a tendency to sway at high speed with stock downforce?
I went to do a top speed run and brought the downforce all the way to minimum but at around 220-230 mph it sinks to the front and the sways uncontrollably. So I brought it back to stock and it did the same.
So on a hunch I minimized the front completely but brought the rear up to 500 and it disappeared until you get to the banked turn where you have to reduce speed to around 220 mph or you will lose control. Anyway to sort this out or am I right on the money?
This is on Route X by the way.
Easy fix : increase ride height to max, you see, when running at very high speed, the low clearance causes the suspension to bottom out as the downforce pushes the car downward :) Try this : set lowest downforce front and back, keep all else the same as my tune above, except max ride height. Drive to top speed at SSRX with full power 900+HP, you will notice the car gets harder to steer as it reach top speed, and no more nasty spins ( try lowest ride height for giggles ) -- BEWARE with highest ride height, meaning highest drag - lower top speed and heavy steering :)
ALTERNATIVELY : Set hardest spring rate set on my tune : 19.64kg/mm front and 27.88kg/mm rear, with min downforce ( allow highest top speed ), set ride height to 80 front and 80 rear, with this setup I can top 400kmh and maintain 390+kmh at the banked turn with great maneuverability :) If want to experiment, lower ride height both front and rear by 1mm until you find the sweet spot :)
EDIT : Testing 70mm front and rear ATM, with min DF and hardest spring set as on tune post :)
-- result : 407kmh top speed, stable on straight, weaved and changed lanes without drama :), but unstable on the banked turn when moving up and down the lane -have to be extra careful when moving from top to bottom lane :( I would increase to 72mm to be safe.
Testing 60mm front and rear :
-- result : stable on the straight, but a bit nervous in quick lane change. 414kmh top speed - not bad. BAD news, spins immediately when entering the banked turn at full speed, highly unstable there.
I would recommend ride height of 70mm as minimum, with extra care when changing lanes on banked turn, 72 or 75 would be my best bet.
This is good experiment, looks like the aero works great in 1.03 :)
BTW, this is all done on the tune posted above ( with max power ) and Racing Hard tire.

Notes :
This old timeless classic - S30 Fairlady is built to replicate the famous restoration and tuner garage - STAR ROAD of Tokyo, Japan. This particular car is a replica of the S30Z driven by Dori Dori at Motegi Speedway Oval.

As in GT6 the car has quite skinny tire :( extra care need to be taken when cornering at high speed, fitting sports hard will also greatly add the grip limit.

UPDATE 1.08 : Revised/Corrected spring rate, damper, ABR and alignment as well as a second set alignment. Tested at Tsukuba, capable of 1:06s on CS tire using street/track alignment.

Notes :
The Diablo GT2 '98, a race car or a prototype street car built for the track ? The car came with sports hard stock, but the real one in the museum has slick tires fitted. I would consider it a race car with it's extreme specs.
This tune is made with Racing Hard, but should work with lower grip tires. After 1.03, the car now has adjustable downforce, albeit only 80/150 max, but still great to have as it improved handling + stability. The tune is made to make it easier to drive, not really easy though, smooth steering is a must for this car.
I also changed the body kit to type A to replicate the actual '98 version.

Tested in arcade races at Apricot Hill, Bathurst, and Brands Hatch GP.

UPDATE : Suspension - dampers have been tweaked, anti roll bar and alignment also have been revised, the car is now more responsive and more stable on high speed curve. Tested at Apricot Hill.

UPDATE 1.03 : New downforce introduced, suspension and LSD has been tweaked to take advantage of added grip on mid to high speed. Able to lap Apricot Hill at 1:22s easily with above tune. Work wonders with sports soft and below.

UPDATE 1.04 : Damper has been revised, more stable on entry and exit. Tested on Sports Hard at 580PP ( 700+HP, full weight )

UPDATE 1.15 : New rear spring rate, damper, ARB, camber and toe. LSD has been reworked. Tune aimed at stable cornering, tested at Autumn Ring Reverse.

The Aventador has mild power bump and tuned for 600PP, using racing hard it can easily win the World Touring Car event in GT6.

The car is has sharp response in handling, great brakes and very rapid acceleration, try not to brake late, trail braking is highly recommended as well. Understeer is minimal, but beware of oversteer on low speed exit.

Notes :
Heavy luxurious touring coupe, the Aston Martin V8 Vantage V600 is not slow, but make no mistake, this car is very hard to push on the limit. Front heavy, and lack of traction makes the car no suitable for the twisty tracks, but drives great on high speed oriented tracks.

Keep in mind the braking distance, brake early and smooth with throttle on exit, the torque easily overwhelm the rear tires.

Notes :
One of my all time favorite RX7, watched the car in action long time ago, the car was considered extreme tuner street car back in the day, with lightened body + race oriented reinforcements, race spec suspension, mild power upgrade yet highly potential with normal tire ( street tires ) -The Knight Sports 7 SE uses normal tire in The Best Motoring Tuned Car Battle at Tsukuba.

This build is using the premium RX7 as the closest Efini is standard ( no flat floor ) and do not have the rear wing. The car is tuned to replicate the Knight Sports Aragosta race suspension system instead, the real car has Knight Sports Pro Spec Race Damper Coil Over with high spring rate not available in GT6. LSD also not specified clearly, so a Cusco Type MZ is used instead which is also a high performer.

The real car is capable of 1:03.010 at Tsukuba during test lap and definitely can get better lap time, my test best lap time ( driving to replicate similar pace + line to the Best Motoring video ) is 1:03.005 using comfort soft and above tune.

To get the best of the car, drive like a pro driver would in real life, smooth steering, trail brake, exit with smooth throttle, only full on when certain you won't lift off anymore.

Enjoy

Ooh, Kuroki's R... Cannot wait to get behind the wheel!

Still think the R200 Club's a joke though.

:) You might have to wait for a day or 2 as I finalize several cars, I will post the S30Z first, hope you will have a great time with it, it's not really powerful at 300PS, but on comfort soft and skinny tire, the S30 is quite entertaining :)

Notes :

With limited information about the 400PS Bee R R32 GTR, I made this replica :) The suspension is based on Buddy Club Rspec Coilover Damper Kit, with originally 12kg/10kg spring rate, I adapted lower value as max spring rate in GT6 is lower. The damper is tuned for compliance with the LSD ( Nismo GT Pro Carbon ). The LSD is unique in this build, 1.5 way up front and 2 way rear with low preload calculated based on torque distribution. The car requires skilled driver to be both smooth with the brakes and aggressive with steering on turn in and exit. Trail braking is essential on lower speed corner, be ready to brake hard and deep - eased off the brake when the speed drop down, don't be scared to lock up the front tire, you'll be surprised how much you can brake with this car. Explore the possibilities, enjoy  Tuned and tested at Bathurst, Brands Hatch GP, Willow Springs, Apricot Hill, Stowe and Tsukuba. Able to lap Brands Hatch GP below 1:45 on comfort soft easily. Beware, she'll bite hard if not careful when power oversteering out of a corner :D
Does this work with the premium skyline too?

Notes :
One of few Japanese Civic EK tuner car with big turbine kit fitted, weight reduction down to only driver seat + race oriented reinforcements, race spec suspension, 5 speed cross mission ( shorter gearing ) giving extreme performance for a civic. This requires the car to be fitted with S tire ( R Compound semi slick tires )-The Top Fuel Zero 1000 uses soft /R compound semi slick tire in The Best Motoring Tuned Car Battle at Tsukuba, and in GT6 equals to sports medium.

The car is tuned to replicate the real car as close as possible, the real car has Super Racing type N1 Coil Over with very high spring rate not available in GT6, so I opted to use the lower spring rate of Super Racing Circuit Master RS ( works just as good ). LSD is replicated - ATS Carbon 1.5 way, this time the LSD is one of the cars strength alongside the potent Circuit Master RS coilovers, able to give great response and traction. Base LSD is medium preload at 22/.

Camber has been tweaked to perform better in GT6, if going for real life spec, camber front should be 3.6, while rear stays the same 1.3. ( if one can post close lap time to real lap time with the 3.6 front camber, then the FF beast is tamed )

The real car is capable of 1:02.57 at Tsukuba during test lap and definitely can get better lap time as it has some brake fade issue ( causing sporadic understeer ), my test best lap time ( driving to replicate similar pace + line to the Best Motoring video ) is 1:01.9xx using sports medium 3.6/1.3 camber and no aids ( with stick giving perfect shifts - with H shifter and wheel, the lap time would be closer )

To get the best of the car, drive like a pro driver would in real life, smooth steering, trail brake, exit with smooth gradual throttle especially on low speed exit ( 2nd or 3rd gear corner ), only full on when certain you won't lift off anymore.

Enjoy

UPDATE 1.16 : Fixes on weight distribution, camber, toe, ARB. The car is now capable of 1:01s at Tsukuba with high camber 3.6/1.3

Added ATS 5 Speed Cross Mission ( Close Ratio ), both standard module and large module 1-3-4-5 gear set with 3 final drive ( 4.400 stock and ATS High Final 4.785 + 4.928 )

UPDATE September 2016 1.22 :
Added new base damper with focus on rotation, old original suspension is now optional.
Added stance alignment, with optional extreme toe in/toe out.
For Stance Alignment, body rigidity is optional, do not install it if wanted less tightness. Flat floor also optional, but highly recommended to install it for better grip overall and easier to handle. Without flat floor the car will much faster in top speed/acceleration but less stable with stance alignment ( entry oversteer and less braking distance )

There's a few things I'd like to note about Kuroki's R... visual wise... For authenticity's sake:

1. If PD allows us to recolor the 400R, we already have our prime base model; but we don't.
2. The proper rims for Kuroki's R would be the BBS RE-MG; the RS is best fit on Blackbird (see episode 18). A +1 inch would suffice; +2 would make his grip line more narrow so it's not recommended
3. It's not necessary to replace the R33's Rear wing. his R was intended to be a Nismo 400R replica aesthetic-wise so the stock wing would suffice. The type A rear would make it look like an R33 GTS.
4. Won't the Flat Floors decrease his overall top speed?

Rim size is really purely aesthetics, when I tested the car, the handling seems fine with +2 inch up ( 19 inch ). Do you know for certain the wheel size in the anime version ? I chose to use BBS RS as I wanted the inner painted color and silver outer finish. I will try the BBS RE and see how it looks in +1 inch up.

I installed rear wing to give the car more downforce at the rear, feel free to use standard rear wing, I will edit the tune, and the flat floor, don't worry, the car can still reach over 320kmh at SSR7 - it gives much better handling and stability at high speed.

Tried the ZERO FC tune in the GT-X.
In terms of pure authenticity; here are a couple of facts.

1. the ZERO FC you showcased is the original ZERO FC tune when ZERO was around; down to the wheels and modifications. The Infini III also has the right wing as showcased in the anime (Manga has the stands/legs in teh center but GT doesn't give us that option)
2. I recommend inculcating the settings on the Premium GT-X as well for authenticity purposes (Hood, Flat floors, front extension similar to the Infini III). Sure it's lacking 15hp from its original powerband but I'll explain in a bit.
3. The revived FC was remodified by Hayashi - the modified one features the same BBS rims I recommended for Kuroki's R.

Here are some differences with the Infini for the GT-X.
- the flat floors are a recommended must-add for aesthetics
- the infini III's stands/legs are far more accurate than the GT-X (whichever wing type with the GT-X, we get solid legs, not the holed ones)
- the GT-X showcases the modified CF hood.

As mentioned by Kijima in the anime; episode 26 (see anime screenshots below), the tuned tachometer of the ZERO FC can hit 300 KM/H @ 9000 rpm; but since the tachometers can't be modified to specifications, and upon further testing at SSR7, its top speed at gear 5 is directly similar to the instance at the anime. (with its max hitting at 305 km/h). (the 6th gear, I'd call it for drafting purposes given speed drops at this point)

For variety's sake, there won't be any problem if you could suggest having them put the same mods in the GT-X premium; that way we can share the leisure of having both the old and new ZERO FC; other than avoiding the suggestion of future posts of "can we do this in the GT-X?"

P.S. The infini III's max powerband is 495 when full tuned. But it's close enough to the FC's original spec of 520hp.

Thank you for the great input 👍 So, would it be better if I posted another tune for the GTX or should I just add another section on the Infini tune ? I have tuned the GTX before I made the Infini one :) You can PM me the details of the visual parts ( wheels ) and do you think the gearing is perfect on the Infini ? I can adapt it to the GTX.

Be sure to give the Knight Sports 7 and Top Fuel Civic a go, they are awesome car to drive, aim to hit same lap time as the real one at Tsukuba, fun ride :D

So, the fix is to stay above certain ride height - with stiff spring, 72-75mm, softer spring should try higher ride height.

@PsuPepperoni : This should help solve your problem with R8 LMS and Z4 GT3 :)

Looks like my Knight Sports 7 is in the 1:02 region ( CS ) at Tsukuba :) Gotta love the fixed rear wheel bug, now the rear tire has a bit more grip and easier to throttle steer :) While, the Top Fuel Zero 1000 is as good as ever, update 1.03 seems to not affect this FF turbo monster, it drives just as great, nimble and fun. Trail brake is your friend :)

I made an update to the BEE Racing R32 GTR, the front LSD braking and acceleration sensitivity has been fixed, I missed that part, just noticed it today when I was building another replica.
